“Lugar Graham” (hat tip to cotton1706 for the rally cry) ping.
I’m bowing! It certainly gets across what needs to happen.
FY..NY Times attempts to sow dissension in the conservative ranks..
They give 'feigned credibility' to Mace and attack Lee Bright. Tells you who they fear and who they don't.
Another challenger, State Senator Lee Bright, tends to support extremely conservative legislation. (Yea Lee!)
... called him(Graham) a community organizer for the Muslim Brotherhood ...
More reasons to like Lee Bright!
Bump that!
If a whole bunch of these people run Graham will win just like Romney won the Presidential Primary.
We need ONE GOOD conservative running - no more.
South Carolina has a runoff. More candidates keep Lindsey under 50%. Then he’d have to win in a runoff against a conservative. And in the meantime, he’d have to spend a ton of money in two elections just to get the nomination, which I don’t think he’ll get.
No. Freepers need to learn how some state elections work.
SC isn't winner take all. If Graham gets less than 50% of the vote, he will be in a run-off with ONE challenger.
At the beginning, the more the merrier, to keep him from getting 50%+.

With South Carolina’s runoff format, the better example is Senator Ted Cruz(TX) beating Dewhurst under the same format.
Aunt Lindsey is feckless, duplicitous, treacherous, double dealing, backstabbing corksucker.
Also insidious and traitorous!
And he beat him like a rented mule, too.

Republicans:
“Let’s have a primary where as many conservatives as possible burn up their campaign funds SMEARING one another so thoroughly that NONE of them could win a general election!
That’ll show those Democrats!”
Democrats:
‘Those silly conservatives actually PLAN to waste their money fighting one another! Is Comrade Axelrod a genius for promoting chaos — or what?
Now, who has the popcorn?”
Your scenario doesn't play out. Proof of that is Texas, where Dewhurst had 6 challengers, and Cruz won.

...and then there is the other side of the coin, take SD for example where there are four going on five or six or seven primary candidates for the vacating, thank heavens, Tim Johnson Democrat extraordinaire.
Winner take all walks away with the seat with only 35% of the vote, if I understand correctly, and there is only one legitimate conservative in the declared, and that would be Stace Nelson. By your voting record you shall be known, and he has one.
Declared
Annette Bosworth, physician
Stace Nelson, State Representative
Larry Rhoden, Majority Whip of the South Dakota Senate
Mike Rounds, former Governor
Potential
Steve T. Kirby, former Lieutenant Governor and candidate for Governor in 2002
William Napoli, former State Senator
Mark Venner, former State Representative
Declared and potential found on wikipedia.org as well as numerous other sources.
Lets have a primary where as many conservatives as possible burn up their campaign funds SMEARING one another so thoroughly that NONE of them could win a general election!”
Their money will be well spent if they circle the wagons and ALL attack Graham, AND make Graham deplete his vaunted “warchest”
It’s still South Carolina. A democrat hasn’t sat in that seat since Strom Thurmond switched parties. Whoever defeats Graham in the primary or runoff will win the seat. If Graham succeeds in getting renominated, I would advise conservatives to vote for the democrat anyway, since Graham is a very insidious, treacherous and evil man who needs to be removed from power one way or another. He would not in any way be the “lesser of two evils.” He is the evil.
What this race needs is another RINO to take away votes from Sweet Lindsey.
