My objection was substantive, thank you. If you cannot see it, God bless you anyway.
“My objection was substantive, thank you. If you cannot see it, God bless you anyway.”
Why are you so combative? Tumblindice and I were merely trying to lighten the subject matter before this thread broke into an all-out brawl!
Calm down.
Sixty Minutes tonight had a segment on facial recognition. It’s scary what the government can do. They SAY private companies are the only ones with no restrictions. I say BS. If you’ve ever posted a picture of yourself on the internet, your face is in the database. And your picture is being taken by your computer and TV screens and cell phones. Doubt it if you want.
ALL of LE gets orgasms over the technology they can use to take your rights away.
The loud music makes it unwatchable for me.
"Substantially" diversionary. Give yourself a nice pat on the back, Police Statist.
Because you mustn't challenge a bleating Statist. Haven't you heard? Nothing to see here -- move along.
Prove it, Police Statist. Thanks. Meanwhile you're still whining as you're shoveling guano by the ton.
Btw, when EVER you're able to comment on and discredit the content of video's claim rampant tyrannical statism and obtrusiveness, your claim might then be taken seriously. Otherwise, you're just....a Statist protecting the status quo.
You've watched the program on Sixty Minutes? Do you realize you're "driving hits to a Lefty Network"? /s
It IS scary and intrusive what the goobermint can do is doing and WILL do. Facial recognition technology is being more refined every day. It's already a "login" feature of certain phones and PCs. Of course there are those of whom either naively believe it's innocuous or unbelievable. Right here at FR.
They SAY private companies are the only ones with no restrictions. I say BS. If youve ever posted a picture of yourself on the internet, your face is in the database.
Exactly. All done in the name of "security." The Patriot Act has been a big Trojan Horse excuse to declare war NOT on "terror," but on We The People.
You mean loaded with hollow point rounds, sporting Kevlar and black from head to toe, and smashing the 4A by going door to door in cities brandishing AW isn't orgasmic enough? I guess the memo is: The Constitution is suspended.
Having the attention span of a gnat can be annoying as well.
I don’t have the attention span of a gnat, but loud music over the voices is not something I care to listen to. It is distracting to me.
Personal choice.
Ah, the Patriot Act. As I’ve said before, I’m not a “truther” but I will not slam those who are. The Patriot Act was to be used against terrorists and “we the people”. To them, that’s one and the same.
Like I’ve said before. We all volunteered when we allowed the Patriot Act to be signed into law. And when we all HAD to be on, what they initially called, the “world wide web”.
We all HAD to have email.
We HAD to become even more narcissistic and post our private information and picture on the internet so everyone could see.
We HAD to have cell phones that will take pictures. The funny thing about that is I don’t remember the people clammering for picture phones. Just one day, they were there. And who’s to say those phones aren’t taking pictures all the time?
Bill Gates said “If you’re not on the web, you’ll be left behind.” And he was right. We are now forced to do business on the internet. It’s too late once you’ve entered your info. It’s there forever. And for those who say we can still mail in our bills, the post office won’t be around long and even now it’s not reliable.
3000 civilians murdered by terrorist and Islam’s move to take over the earth is not concocted! Daaaa
Nope; claim of both Tsarnaev’s being shot at 6:45, Todashev at 7:00.
The Marxist/fascist/Prog oligarchy won't use cattle cars. No. no.
They will use big yellow school buses, and the sheeple will compliantly board them just as they have been trained to do.
