“Why is it that Democrats’ first instinct is to lie?”

It is apparently due to their core DNA. They are incapable of telling the truth.

They hate people, who dare to tell the truth about them and their beloved lying leaders.

“I’m no boat person, but is that a dog collar around his neck??”

I own 3 kayaks and would never put anything around my neck, If anyone did it with me in a tandem, they would never go out again with me.

Bringing a kayak alongside a dock or a boat and standing up to get from the yak to the boat or dock can be very dangerous.

That picture could be used as a training video of what not to do in a yak.

I recall it being said, by an old cohort of Bill Clinton when he was governor: "He'd rather climb a tree and tell a lie, than stand on the ground and tell the truth." That quote always stuck with me and hasn't been proven wrong since.

I remember relating the quote to a co-worker during Clinton's first campaign for POTUS and the reaction was, "So what, they all lie," and I replied that "character" was everything and truth-telling paramount in our public officials. It's about trust. We've lost confidence in most of our officials during the last two decades and it seemingly doesn't much matter to a majority of the electorate.

LOL! This is happening so frequently these days that we are getting good at "translating" auto-correct speech.

I got it right away that you are about (a boat) person, ;-)

I'm certainly not the only one, either.

She resigned from office. She failed the test. Retreat IS in her D.N.A., apparently, despite her claims to the contrary.

You fail to see the brilliance of that move.

Sarah Palin's enemies expected her to remain in office and continue taking the pummeling. Instead, she freed herself of the constraints of office and took the battle directly to them. You can bet her enemies were flummoxed by her BOLD move and have been sorry ever since.

She changed the battle front and redefined the war. Look at what Palin has accomplished since. Remember the grassroots victory in 2010? Just watch what happens in 2014. The best is yet to come.

Leftists lie so as to not tip their hand and reveal themselves for who and what they are and really believe in. Simple as that. And like the cockroaches that they are, they need to be stepped on and brought to their miserable end...that is what you do to vermin.

Sarah Palin ended her political career the day she quit the governership. This is a great Facebook post (and written perfectly, BTW) but it is only a FB post.

I refer you to post #91.

Only a Facebook post? Sarah Palin has over 3.5 million followers on facebook. I shared her post with my list of nearly 800 friends along with 9964 others who also shared it with their friends or followers. The MSM will pick it up and write endlessly about it. I'd say that's pretty powerful stuff.

She took more crap than anyone I’ve ever seen and had every right to exercise her choice and quit. If she had not, she would have been a national force again. But she did quit.

Where is it written that only people holding office can be considered a "national force"? And to be honest, Sarah hasn't taken ANY crap. Not once has she shrunk from the battle. Again, her resigning as governor was a battle strategy, not a surrender. She is THEE MAJOR force in taking back our country, all politicians be damned.

Another quote about B J Clinton the "liar of all liars":

A union leader who dealt with him made the point more crudely, that he could "shake your hand and piss down your leg at the same time."

I appreciate you posting this 'one more time', as I had not seen it before

It has been many months, perhaps a year.

The point of the post as well as others by myself is to condense a general theme into a precise statement.

Then, time reveals the accuracy of the statement.

I have been posting that one for years.

The communists have yet to disprove any part of it... :-)

Put up a “good” or even a “great” candidate and conservatives will bitch. Whether the candidate doesn’t support “X” or fully supports “Y” then that position is a fatal flaw, making the candidate completely untenable and unelectable ... to them. Perfect is the enemy of good. The Dems, on the other hand, coalesce behind whatever commie-du-jour they pick for office. I can think of countless reasons why Hillary is dangerous to the country, but we all know the Dems will line up behind her like a Roman Legion preparing for battle.

If the "X" or "Y" concerns abortion, then I guarantee you that Democrats would NOT line up behind a Pro-Life candidate no matter what his/her other credentials are. Heck, they wouldn't even let Bob Casey speak at their convention! This issue (denying the fundamental right to LIFE) IS a fatal flaw in any candidate I would vote for since it is something that influences ALL other rights. No Democrat on the national stage would be nominated much less elected who did not fully support abortion-on-demand.
