I’m not an MIT math professor or a Harvard business professor but...if part-time employment INCREASED by 360 thousand and full-time employment DECREASED by 240 thousand how can TOTAL employment increase by 195 thousand rather than 120 thousand?

I don’t know for sure, but if I had to guess, it is because individuals who obtain two or more part-time jobs only count once in labor participation stats.
