As a simple matter of marketing fact, Talk Radio Listeners already agree near 100% with the programming. Neither is there a scintilla of evidence that Talk Radio has ever caused a non-voter to vote, never mind converted a "Left" voter to vote "Right." Right Wing Talk Radio is the 21st C equivalent of 1950's teenagers listening to their favorite DJs, who played the same record over and over.
Talk Radio = Preaching To The Choir. Talk Radio is NOT missionary work. The heathens are not going to buy Sleep-Numba Beds.
In regard to the Cruz appearance, he was basically a visiting pastor, preaching to the same choir. What, pray tell, has been his achievement to date in the Senate? Is he changing minds there, or are we still going to wind up a nation of sheep-dipped-to-vote illegal aliens?
Keep up the good work Cruz. But, listen, in my book you ain't a Natural Born Citizen. So be a loud Senate leader. Become head of the RNC. Do some good.
It's certainly wise to avoid believing Limbmaugh's every word. In fact I rarely listen (my car radio's volume knob doesn't work now). However, as I understabd it, when Limbaugh was being deferential to Rubio, some of his listeners were buying the Rubio story that the senate amnesty bill will shut down the border etc. I have a first hand account of a Rush listener who says that Cruz convinced him to oppose the amnesty bill.

He is trying, albeit against the RINO/amnesty flow in the senate, and some are listening. Do you want him to stop?
But, listen, in my book you ain't a Natural Born Citizen.
Is that you, Kenny, or are you quoting someone else?
That jumped right out at me too.
"Republicans," they spit with the venom of a Mohammedan rug merchant matching wits and saliva with his camel on a hot desert day.
Ecoute-moi, mon ami acadien, this is my main problem with both (BOTH I say, tous les deux) Rubio and Cruz. Until a group cashing SCOTUS paychecks says what's what, IMNVHO believe neither man is constitutionally eligible to run for POTUS, which seems to be some sort of 2016 goal.
The willful failure of the SCOTUS to accept appeals on "natural born Citizen," citizenship of "anchor babies" (another canard)is a disgrace. However, IMNVHO the presidency of one who was also constitutionally ineligible cannot be allowed to stand as some sort of precedent.
As far as Cruz' work in the Senate goes, "Bravo," say I, "Keep it up, but do keep an even strain on your springline." He ought to concentrate on that and not succumb to the allure of national status. I believe there is even hope for the distressingly frequent RINO RUBIO to become a good Senator.
I have a first hand account of a Rush listener who says that Cruz convinced him (I trust this pronoun refers to Rubio?) to oppose the amnesty bill.
If so, Bravo Encore Cruz! However, I smell many rats. With Boehner running the House and Mitch selling out his mother in the Senate, what I suspect will happen is that we will wind up with a reconciliation bill giving us Amnesty with a bunch of window-dressing CYA Republican amendments from Cruz et al that will have no effect whatsoever.
Mitch and Boehner will then tearfully appear to tell us that this fair yet rigorous bill "was the best they could do." Rubio of course, will deliver congratulations to the "Latino Community," whatever TF that is, en español.
After GWB, McCain, and Romney, you are worried that the GOP establishment would allow a conservative candidate for POTUS in 2016?
I believe there is even hope for the distressingly frequent RINO RUBIO to become a good Senator.
His epiphany had better occur before amnesty becomes law. Otherwise I will never forgive him.

No, it refers to the listener, the subject of the "who says" clause. Rubio seems determined to be a traitor.
Bullcrap.
I voted for Mitt The Mormon Milquetoast, even though the namby-pamby SOB nauseated me.
The way the Republic is going, I feel it's time to hit "RESET." The Slavery Question having been settled to my satisfaction, I, a hardened Yankee, would now fight for Secession and States' Rights. The United States "were;" not "is".
Amen. I think it would take a miracle to make "our" elected servants start looking out for us instead of the plutocrats.
