So is he a liar and what statistical evidence do you have to prove it?
I didn’t say he was a liar. YOU said that, so YOU prove it.
I said he was an academic. That’s easily proven from his CV.
Academics can cite numbers and stats all day long in support of their larger picture.
When Joe Doaks, is pulled over by a cop and has guns in the car, or he’s carrying with a CCW, none of those stats matter any more. It comes down to the cop and the citizen, and increasingly, we see that cops are not supportive of citizens who own guns. The citizen doesn’t get to play a game of 20 Questions with said cop to find out which side the cop is on before having to deal with a cop. No, the cop chooses you, Mr. Citizen, and from there on in, everything you say can be used against you, and nothing you say will be used for you.
It’s a game of roulette, with the citizen’s rights, and possibly his life, on the line.
I don’t play gambling games. I start with the assumption that cops aren’t on my side, and if I come away from an encounter with a different experience, hey, that’s a nice upside. But I always plan for the worst.
All you can cite is your opinion.
Yep.
And that counts for a hell of a lot more when I’m the one being stopped by a cop. Because the academics won’t be going to court with me if I’m up against a crooked cop.
