BLAME THE PRESIDENT FOR BENGHAZI
There is one simple point to be made about Benghazi: the President of the United States is the only human being on the planet that can order a bullet, a missile, a plane, a drone, a boat, a helicopter, a soldier, sailor, spy, or push cart with a squirt gun attached to go into another country and perform an aggressive action.
On September 11, 2012, we know the President failed to give that order. We don’t know where he was, what he was doing, or why he failed to act. But we do know he failed to act, and that inaction cost the lives of four brave Americans.
There were many survivors the night of the attack? WHY HAVEN’T WE HEARD FROM ANY OF THEM?
FReepers, Barry and Hillary have each other in check right now. Barry doesn’t have any wiggle room because Hillary knows he was in on “the video did it” meme. But Hillary wants to be President so any info coming out could damage her chances in 2016. Who will blink first?

I saw Dr. Krauthammer on O’Really when he said this. This is why he is one of my favorite analysts. He always manages to sift through the dust and rubble and get to the salient facts of a situation or problem. In the case of Benghazi, he hit the nail on the head. Instead of Obama taking the unfamiliar action of actually making a decision for once in his life and call for the rescue of those Americans in the consulate, he froze in his tracks like a deer in the headlights and shifted to the “how are we going to explain this away” strategy. He and Hillary concocted the video as a red herring as the cause of the attack and then continued the storyline that it was too late to rescue anyone, even though they never made an attempt to do so to begin with.
This is the real scandal, as Dr. K says, and this should be the focus of the congressional investigations. Where was Obama during the 8 hours of the attacks and what was he doing? Nothing apparently, except to pack clean underwear for his campaign trip to Las Vegas the next morning. That’s what this country gets for hiring a small-time community organizer for the job of president. He just doesn’t have the executive skills necessary to do the job.
Whatever the reason, it has to be really big to cause such panic in the White House.

I have a gut feeling there’s a really, really big story behind the video that’s getting lost in all of this. Yes, it’s important to dig through the defenses to discover the actual Benghazi timeline, who did what (or didn’t) when, and most importantly: why? But at the same time, there’s simply too much about this whole video thing that bears looking into, and as noted int he article here, may very well be tied to the other answers.
1) Why was the video made in the first place? It was a parole violation and it wasn’t being done for profit (which would fit with the guy’s history as a con man). It was simply dumped on YouTube where it was virtually unwatched, until...
2) ... on or about September 11, where it was aired to be denounced in Cairo, setting off a “spontaneous” embassy protest mere hours before the premeditated attack on the Benghazi consulate. The embassy in Cairo joins in denouncing the video immediately. Then came Benghazi, and...
3) Despite on-the-ground reports and information directly from the Libyan government, the administration latches onto the “video” story. This could be seen as simple opportunism and expediency, except...
4) Clinton tells the families of the slain that they will get the guy who made the video. Why? How could she know that the guy responsible was one of likely a handful of people in the entire country who was legally prohibited from putting that movie on YouTube? Note that MAKING the movie was, I believe, not a parole violation, only using a computer to post it on the internet was, and in any case, except for the special circumstances in that case, making a movie isn’t a crime. There was absolutely no reason to suspect that any crime was committed at all and that there was therefore anyone to “get”, then...
5) Obama goes to the UN and declares that the future must not belong to those who insult the prophet of Islam. An extremely curious choice of phraseology there. Not “those who demean others’ beliefs” nor any attempt to make an equivalency to other religious figures or religions, as would be expected. Shortly thereafter (if I have the timeline right)...
6) The guy behind the video is “found” and his location publicized. He calls to turn himself in, fearing for his safety thanks to the publicity. He is sentenced to return to prison for parole violations involving the use of a computer. Rumor is that he goes immediately to solitary, where...
7) He completely drops off the face of the earth. No high-profile civil liberties lawyer arguing his case in the court of public opinion (that his arrest for parole violations was the result of essentially an illegal search, as there was no evidence of any illegality behind the video). No “from prison” interviews, letters, or the like.
Now, each of those 7 points in and of themselves may not seem like much, but put together, it certainly warrants investigating the links to see how much is coincidence and how much isn’t.
Crappy YouTube guy isn’t a particularly sympathetic figure — a known crook and frankly, lousy filmmaker — so why would anyone really want to take up his case? Because it isn’t about him, really, but rather how it all fits in to the larger story, if at all. Honestly, if this were a spy novel, I’d even wonder if the guy even exists, or is just an identity created by an intelligence agency — head “reads” like a “cipher” in so many respects.
And the “why” of the whole thing, if conspiracy it is, is simple to determine:
A) It’s a cover story to hide the truth of what actually happened in Benghazi.
B) It provided a nice scapegoat rather than holding any of the responsible parties accountable.
C) It allowed Obama to project an image, for both foreign and domestic consumption, that he can and will jail people for blasphemy against Islam.
O'Reilly is a Democrat Party operative. Until BHO, Jr. is called out directly on this on the Congressional Floor, Benghazi-Gate ain't goin' nowhere. They're still 100 layers away from the POTUS.
This is not the first time Zer0 went "missing". Although not for eight hours, back in early 2010 he went "missing" for a couple of hours one morning.....while attending a daughter's soccer game....which never played.
But again, my information comes from the government and the MSM, so who knows?
Your observation is why the IRS scandal is so important.
Benghazi can be argued for years...good judgement, bad judgement...ignorance of what assets can do in such an emergency, on and on and on.
Bur the IRS thing is a clear violation of the law and even if it does not get obumnbler out of office, it can get rid of so many of his henchmen that his administration is crippled.
Lerner did not act without the knowledge and probably the direct instructions from those at the very top; most likely Valerie Jarrett.

Yup, so much for leaving soldiers on the battlefield. They got no help and the help that wanted to go, that was ready, was told not to go. They were fighting for their lives and the phone was not answered. The horrifying thing is that the mainstream news media is not asking about it either. Prayers for those in harms way; the person next to you may be the last best hope. Others may just be worrying about their political standing.
