That’s all well and good, but it does not address my point at all.
My point was that if you hang people instead of inject them, there will be no difference in the amount of murders, as some here have posited.
As to the effects of capital punishment on crime, there are a whole bunch of studies that present evidence in opposition to your posted studies. Oddly, whoever is compiling the stats, determines the results of the study.
