Interesting that you thought this might best be done by having people visit your blog.
I do not seek to steal traffic from Free Republic, in fact I hope that my pieces may do the opposite.
I suppose then that you will stop diddling that excerpt button and post the full text here.
Since you seem to be knowledgeable on this or at least you believe so, can you please point to me where in FR’s rules of use it says that you cannot post excerpts from your writings?
It is my beliefe that the Tsarnaevs set the backpacks down ie chose the victims, but that AlHarbi “pulled the trigger.” If these clowns used rc cars circuits to set off the bombs, WHERE ARE THE CONTROLLERS. Who pulled the trigger?
Why are you seemingly so determined to excerpt your blog?
Is that perhaps part of your business model?
Farming Free Republic for hits?
I repeat my question: where in FRs rules of use does it say that you cannot post excerpts from your writings?
There is no hard and fast rule about that.
I can direct you to the owner stating he would prefer that you did not:

“I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.
If a blogger cant or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then Id just as soon he doesnt post here. Its not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. Thats his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog.”
Now answer MY question.
Why are you so keen to excerpt your own blog?
Just fishing for a few hits?
Thank you, that clarifies the issue, at least partly.
I’ll keep that in mind, although, as you say, there are no hard and fast rules. I got the spirit of it. Jim Robinson says: “Im not big on rules.”.
You do that.
Creepy Burger King will be watching you.
