BTT. I want one of those.
Because I don't have one, that's why.

Unfortunately, we have a policy of selling to state law enforcement agencies only what is allowed to be sold to private citizens in that state.
There's nothing "unfortunate" about it; indeed, the nation is fortunate to have so many enterprises willing to put principle above profits.

One cannot necessarily blame the rank and file LEO for the bone-headed policies put into place by an out of control government.
That said, I thought that the reply from Mr. Serbu was right on target.

They are expensive to feed. Back when I had my AR-50, plinking rounds cost $2.50 each, and match rounds from Arizona Ammunition cost $5.00.
The spousal unit I had then limited me to 2 shooting trips a year. Because you gotta go someplace with a range for .50BMG. And get a hotel room, etc....
It's a hobby for the wealthy. That ain't me any more. ;)

One cannot necessarily blame the rank and file LEO for the bone-headed policies put into place by an out of control government.I will bet 90% of them vote democRat. Everyone of my realtives up there in NYS who is a union member votes democRat, police and corrections officers. One of the reasons I moved away.
That out of control government was voted into control by people who feed at the government trough. And keep voting.
