Yep, electric cars are just the vehicle to deliver millions of $ to his friends...who contribute to him.

Sorry, this won't work.
You see, for Greenies, it is never about how green whatever they support is. It is always how green it makes them feel.
There is no way you can present the fact (re: toxic) to change their zealous beliefs.

We just need to wise up another 10% of this country to start swaying elections the other way... this issue is a pretty blatant black eye for the administration to any thinking person
Now all we have to do is find some thinking persons not already voting against the left... hmmm

The lack of scientific credibility behind these initiatives ought to be drilled into the voter’s heads until they realize that that’s ALL it is, a scam...
You are right of course, and it’s same as back in Ill., Blago took bribes for the contractors on ‘green’ projects such as bike paths and such while trumpeting his enviromental ‘sensitivity’ lol

It sounds like you just have a chip on your shoulder against the coal burners. You probably have stock in Exon.

CFL Bulbs should be outlawed.

I prefer the wind powered kind myself. You just have to be going downhill all the time. (Kind of like when we had to WALK to school uphill both ways through 5 foot snowdrifts and our cell phones were OJ cans and string.)

Green is just another “feel good” cover for raping the consumer. Just ask Barry “energy costs will necessarily skyrocket” Obama.
There are two fallacies involved in making comparisons of relative “evilness” of gasoline vs. electric vehicles.
The first is that “carbon dioxide” is a pollutant.
The second is making the assumption that coal produced electricity will be allowed to continue. The enviro weenies at the EPA are already hammering out more tons of regulations to shut them down or make them so expensive to operate that the utility owners are forced to pull them offline. There needs to be a complete gutting of all federal regulatory agencies. No rule or regulation should be allowed without implicit approval of congress.

LEDs are the way to go. They don’t explode like flouroscents or regular light bulbs and last 50K hours.

My elem school was over the hill and on top of another hill...and I walked or rode a bicycle. The school smelled like paste and crayons.
Glad I'm as old as I am!
