You could hide them under a cow.

If nothing else it shows the pure idiocy of thinking that firearms can ever be eliminated. Hell palestinian children make more sophisticated zip guns than that.

I’ll stick with my new sig 226 even though the slide release is stiff as heck.

Although these would make some quick throw aways for emergency use.

The Shotgun is MUCH simpler, much more powerful, more accurate due to length, and darn right scary this is on YouTube.

Hardest part about this build is finding the one round of 9mm ammunition...

This thing makes a “zip gun” look sophisticated. Remember the WWll “Liberator pistol?” A single-shot .45ACP pistol made of sheet metal stampings with a smoothbore bbl. The only machined part was the firing pin. The whole idea was to sidle up to a German, stick this thing in his ribs and take what he had afterwards.

If you stacked 30 of these, DiFi will go into convulsions.

While it may be good knowledge to have, it is highly dangerous and should only be built in a last resort situation, not for s****s and giggles.

LOL, so true. Even .22LR is always sold out now. The only thing that still is available is shotgun shells (last day of duck season so I guess they had extra on the shelves). I regret not learning and buying reloading supplies a long time ago.

I don’t think kids should see it. Yes, I know “parents are responsible for what their children watch” blah blah blah.. Still, just a bit too easy IMO.

The moral of that story is to have a secondary set of firearms in “non-standard” calibers/gauges.

During the last ammo “run” I was able to procure as much as I wanted/needed, and usually at old prices.

This included 16 gauge buckshot and slugs (sometimes at $1.99 a box, they’d been sitting on the shelves so long), .38 Super ($16.99 box of 50 for ball), and .300 Savage (falls in between .30-30 and .308, and the Remington Model 81 is chambered for it).

Weird, but I’ve never been not able to find these.

I’ve been holding off on playing at the range for the past few months knowing the resupply was limited. It finally hit home when I went to my favorite gun shop a few weeks ago and .38SPL was going for $40 a box (and yes, I bought the last two boxes).

They’re rationing popular calibers at many stores out here, mostly 9mm, .40, .45, .223, and .308. Funny, but .380 was the big bottleneck the last time.

I have enough of the standard stuff, but I’m always on the lookout for weird stuff. A real sleeper is .32-20, which is like a hot 9mm and there are both revolvers and lever rifles chambered for it.

You really led a sheltered life in childhood didn’t you? Do you believe that 100s of kids will take to the streets with their zip guns and slam fire shotguns? There are real problems, and this one concerns you. Easy life.
