I have a hunch the loudly self-proclaimed “progressives” and Republicans in Congress believe we’ll settle for another so-called “compromise:” they’ll allow us to keep our so-called “assault weapons” for now, but we’ll have to accept a ten-round magazine limit and background checks for all firearms sales. The “progressives” and Republicans will do everything short of dislocate their shoulders patting themselves on their backs for being so “reasonable.” The failed main stream “news” media will hail President You Didn’t Build That as the man who finally broke the NRA’s back and made American school kids safe.
Have we ever encountered “progressives” and Republicans who believe in “compromise?”

“Places you dont see mass murder and mayhem? Well, theres a reason bad guys largely avoid shooting-up gun shows, ranges, households with signs that say: This home insured by Smith & Wesson
That’s the question libtards cannot answer, why aren’t there any shootings at gun shows or even gun shops?

Man, that is almost what happened to me at Colcord OK thirty eight years ago! I told the wife to hold the baby while got ready to unload a .44 spl into a truck load of drunks along side of us. They backed off and left.

At that point the war is on: we'll need to ensure logistics and planning (guerrilla-warfare).
And active non-compliance with gun-"laws" that are even now on the books: we can have "make your own auto" parties, and such.

My “assault pistol” (a 5 shot .357 revolver), saved my ass and my wife’s ass one day in the middle of BFE New Mexico. Not a shot was fired but the mere presence of the pistol immediately changed the dynamics of a developing situation in a way that fvaored the law abiding vacationers.

If the RINOS can’t even protect the freedom of 75W and 100W incandescent light bulbs while simultaneously banning Hg filled thermometers while forcing Hg filled CFLs, how are they going to fight for gun rights?

To my knowledge, since WWII, there has been one attempted mass shooting in a gun store.
One person died.
Guess who? Hint: he was hit with multiple caliber rounds.

Me and a couple of buddies were going hunting back in high skrool and had some road rager slamming the brakes in front of us.
One of us removed the Ruger Blackawk from the rag and began showing it to the guy sitting next to him.
Road rager decided to leave us alone.

I for one will not be disarmed, it will not work and has not worked in the past. 2013 will be 45 years of Gun laws and Gun bans.
All of which were going to make America safer.
And all of which have failed.
Talk about being, “Stuck On Stupid”.
Tenn. is putting off duty cops in our schools, now that will work and keep our kids a lot safer.

I believe “road rage” is something that started happening to us when we stopped carrying the shotguns in the gun rack against the back window.

That is in line with Robert Heinlein’s “an armed society is a polite society”.

Two idiots saw my girlfriend-at-the-time & decided that she just had to go home with them that night.
When I appeared, and objected, they decided I needed an 'attitude adjustment'.
When my friend Mr. Browning made an appearance, they decided I was a _ussy for inviting Mr. B.
A small group that had seen the preceeding vocally & loudly admonished them for their desire for a 2 large (them) ~vs~ 1 small (moi) fisticuffs challenge....
'Be a man big or small' and all that :)

This sort of event happens a lot more than anyone knows.
Flash a gun at these punks and all of the sudden they aren’t so brave anymore.
The gun grabbers are on the side of the criminals.
See how they have handled the case of the Mexican drug armies.
While arming them up, they are trying to disarm us.
Think about that one for a while.

Similar question I posted here last night. I said "Do you suppose this piece of crap chose to walk into a school because he knew no one would be shooting back''?

That was my thought, too.
