Consquently, the Liberals and tyrants (but, I repeat myself) are hysterically pursuing it. They are more afraid of honest, law abiding citizens than they are afraid of genuine criminals or even Muslim terrorists. That alone tells you all you need to know about whose side they are on.
If these fascists have any sense (most don't) they need to examine the recent bloody and sad history of Bosnia and Kosovo and see how ugly it can get when this sort of sh!t storm is unleashed. The problem is, they doubt they will be affected by their own policies. They think the stupid Bible toting rubes out in flyover country are a bunch of John Boehner/Mitch McConnell wannabees, just waiting to cave again on all fronts to their intimidation and "legal" force. Their hubris and contempt of our God given rights and freedoms is astonishing. But there it is.
A sword can cut two ways. In their lust for power and control over their fellow citizens they imagine they are now almost totally in control and soon they will "close" the deal and the sword they wield and plan to use against currently peaceful and law abiding American citizens by destroying their clear Constitutional rights can only cut one way - their way.
Why wouldn't they think that? After all, they "won" the last election even though their corruption, fraud and ongoing intimidation and disregard for the rule of law was well known and out in the open for all to see. Maybe that's why they won... they fancy themselves too clever and ruthless to be stopped! Besides, their compliant propaganda organs - their mainstream media enablers - are spurring them on to even greater excesses. Who could lose with such a strong wind at their back against such a scattered and impotent opposition?
Fools and criminals, the lot of them. Yet, we have been fools as well for letting these cleverly deceptive tyrants anywhere near the seats of power. But now they practically own them so now the butcher's bill is about to be presented.
It is possible this will end well. Or it may end catastrophically, as such things have so often ended in past centuries (as you have so ably illustrated). But in the interim, it is not likely to go well. Not well at all.

Communist countries were filled with populations afraid of each other - snitches, turn coats, informers and so on.
Can’t be any other way, as communism requires complete surrender, and many don’t want to, and there aren’t enough “regular” military or law enforcement to do the job of repression. So rewards and punishments among the citizenry and a network of informers is absolutely necessary.
Hub knows this first hand, and my parents who visited eastern Europe a fair amount and had friends there, also experienced it.
Here is what I think. The left is in power. They are organized. We are not. We need leaders. We need someone, a former General, or Generals, military people, that we can unite and organize behind.
We need Aragorn. We need Gandalf. We need a Leader to stop the fears of the common man. We need to organize NOW.
What is the saying, We must all hang together or we shall surely all hang separately.

I can definitely see Ann Barnhardt in the role of Galadriel, Arwen or Joan of Arc - inspiring all of us to have courage. I agree that we will need a leader if this all comes to pass. I pray that it doesn’t. Someone on FR chastised me when I said that once (that we will need a leader, or leaders), but while each of us can and should individually do what we are tasked with, to fight this organized evil at the level they are prepared to take it to, will require leadership, organization, courage and great character. (This probably could and should be at the local and state level first). I pray that the time doesn’t come when we get to a “hot war” as Ann Barnhardt calls it, but if it does, I pray that a godly, faithful man of God, who serves and obeys Christ alone and cares nothing for his own glory, will be willing to take the responsibility. Because he wants to defend the right, the goodness of Christian America and Western Civilization. We will know he’s the right one because although he will have the right leadership qualification, he won’t be seeking the responsibility, he won’t see himself as the one to put in that position, but those around him will know his quiet, steady, perservering character and will pray that he will be willing to do the job, as difficult, nearly impossible as it will seem.

I can see a long period of Rwanda X Bosnia in our future. Folks have no idea. In that environment, folks throwing matches are histories worst scoundrels. The utopians need to understand they are being played the fools by their evil manipulators, but they won’t in time.
