The amount of “sources” speaking out but doing so “anonymously” because they lack the authorization to do so, is MIND BOGGLING.
Many of these “anonymous LE sources” have been WRONG.
Who are these people? Every article written about this horrific event has that disclaimer in it. Some have it every other paragraph it seems. What good is reporting something from anons endlessly doing?
Are they trying to create more confusion and panic?
Did you listen to the police scanner at the link at #57. He is named over the scanner after he is taken into custody. They are one and the same person. Clearly not somebody in the woods cutting logs.
I’m not around guns. Haven’t been shooting in a really long, long time. If that guy was outside, would he smell sulfur?
Yep — mainly from the shots fired from outside the school at the front entrance.
This guy I maybe? Works at Warde High School, which is in Fairfield, a town nearby.

Hey Lame Stream Media - how about following up with this guy and straighten the whole story out? Why did did he run up into the woods (after running around the school)? I’m not saying that he’s got anything to do with this, but really now.. this is just a little weird.

i don’t want to be “flamed” for saying this, but perhaps if there were more MEN in the school they might have been able to overpower this 20 year-old murderer?

One gun in the hands of someone willing to use would have done it. If nothing else it would have kept him busy until the authorities arrived.
Thankfully a secretary called 911 before she and the nurse went to hide in the closet where they were for 4 hours. Obviously they didn’t have their cellphones with them. All closets where people can hide should be stocked with cellphones.
I’m suspecting that this Manfredonia might live right nearby, like on Crestwood Drive on the other side of those woods near the school.

That seems to be a tactic based on their theory to never let a crisis go to waste. And if you don't have a crisis, create one.

I’m not sure I am either... who the hell dresses in camo to go help his little daughter build freakin’ gingerbread houses...? Maybe out in Montana that’s more the norm, but really now — this is upscale suburban Connecticut. KInd of odd. And what was he doing in the woods...?? Anyone else think that’s a little whacked out?

Nothing in the LA times article says anything about running into any woods. That seems like it should a major component of this little side story here...

That is strange.
However I do remember reading that there was a poster that the killer moved past in the hallway that featured the gingerbread man. So that part could be true
And the article did have a statement from his wife apparently.
It shouldn't be too hard to find out if he lived in that house above the woods above the school. He might have been cutting through the woods to the school when the police saw him.
One of the conmmenters below the article gives a different name of a different father [Neil Heslin] who was also there to make gingerbread houses who lost a child ]Jesse] and was and was also detained.
