Hmm...DU must be slipping. I expected at least three or four refusals to observe the holiday because of its relationship to horrible white Europeans exploiting Native Americans or some such thing.

Holy moly, imagine having to spend more then 10 minutes with that arrogant, self-rightous, pompous know it all.... I bet almost everyone at the table could not stand him and he had no idea...so full of himself...They probably opened a bottle of champagne when he finally left... At least when i discuss politics with my left leaning friends it is a spirited, healthy debate, filled with respect (for the most part...usually a person on the left lets some nasty words slip...expect that)... This guy has no clue what that means or is.

Naah. Most of them were happy to do Thanksgiving, either celebrating the election with their like-minded lib relatives or else rubbing it in the face of their rethug rellies.

Of course, not one DUmmie--NOT ONE--mentioned anything about THANKING GOD at Thanksgiving.

Oh Crud............we cooked a duck for dinner because it was only the 3 of us and we hadn’t had one in a while..........and now I find out that a DU’er did that to feed her birds?

That is true, without DuFu my Dickensian life would definitely not be worth living. Just knowing there is probably going to be one tomorrow is what keeps me from not waking up in the morning, or afternoon or whenever.

We had that old Pilgrim favorite “succotash” (limas, corn & tomatoes mixed). The Marjorie Holmes brand is delicious, canned and already seasoned perfectly.

My New Year’s wish will be that they all get what they wanted and voted for. Yes, it will affect us all but the sooner it happens the better.
