Ultimately, folks like you are putting your faith in man and government, not in God - and this is true no matter how much highminded talk about "prayer" and "who can be influenced by God" you might want to make. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. if God wanted, He could put Obama back into office, and then turn his heart completely 180 degrees around. Your accusation is laughable. I have no faith in government whatsoever. It has become a known evil. If you think, however, that God would have a person behave unwisely and elect stupidly, "just because He is in control of everything", you're quite mistaken. That kind of thinking is ANTI-Scriptural. The Proverbs are replete with behaving wisely, not because God couldn't fix stupid, but because He gave you a brain. So use it.
There is only one of two people who WILL be put into office come January regardless of how much faith you have in your fancies of 'superior good character': it'll either be Romney or Obama. With Romney, use your faith and pray that God has great influence over his through his advisers, continue to pray that God will put people into his sphere that would lead him in the right direction; pray that more and more Constitutionally conservative senators and representatives, both U.S. and state, bet elected to office, and for those who are there now are also leading and voting in the way God would have them.
If you think God would approve of my helping re-elect a known liar, who is a godless, Muslim Marxist either through voting third party or refusing to vote at all, then you're truly living in fantasyland. Consequences ALWAYS matter to God. You're the type who truly would have helped put a Hitler into office because your principles are so high and mighty you couldn't vote for a mormon. It doesn't matter the known end result was millions murdered, those people simply didn't have the 'right kind of faith.'

Dont pretend that youre supporting Palin.Palin isn't running. But even if she were, you'd oppose her because you claim she isn't conservative enough to be POTUS.
To: reasonisfaith
You’re confusing anti-Romney with anti-liberalism.
In this case whoever they are the same.
One has to wonder why some calling themselves conservative would be a Romney supporter.

You've taken leave of your senses. Your hyperpartisanship in a bad cause impeaches your judgment. Go away, please. You're just annoying honest people.
Go on and vote for 0bama then, and then you can go screw yourself. I'm not going anywhere.

Conservatives don’t want Obama to win more than they’ve ever wanted anything in any political election, ever.
This is why it’s so hard for me to believe the “stay home on election day conservatives” on this site are truly conservatives.

Not necessarily. You could be like the GOP-E and simply capitulate.
So you're saying there is no point in even bothering to vote in 58 more days?

Except for a few liberals, no one wants obama to win., I certainly don’t.
I also don’t want liberalism to win.

Interesting that you seem to feel that people opposed to liberalism are sowing discord.

hey, I’ve been doing my best to suppress Democrat turnout ~ per se ~ and even then the Mittbots seem unable to take advantage of it.
To: reasonisfaith
Strictly hypothetical ~ Romney had the same problems in Massachusetts and he came down on the same side as Obama at present.
You need only to look at their records to see the incredible similarities.
To: svcw
You can't be a Christian or a Conservative and support either Obama or Romney.
That leaves us with only a few choices ~
To: reasonisfaith
No one has to stay at home on election day, in fact I intend to vote numerous times ~ and not once for Obama.

Interesting that you seem to feel that people opposed to liberalism are sowing discord.
Interesting that you're unable to grasp the reality of the situation.
You have a crypto-Muslim Communist in the White House that has been doing his damndest to destroy America over the past four years, and if he gets another term in November he is highly likely to finish the job.
His opponent is a liberal Republican former Governor of Massachusetts. The running mate is a conservative Tea Party approved Congressman from Wisconsin.
You either vote to hopefully defeat that anti-American bastard in the White House, or you don't.
Those are your choices.

I'm not going anywhere, regardless of my first response being deleted. And you can just go right ahead and support 0bama by default. The primaries are done, the nominees have been selected, and if you can't bring yourself to pull the lever for Romney & Ryan, then 0bama thanks you for your support.

As Teddy Roosevelt said in 1912 when he formed the Progressive party after the Bull Moose party failed. Progressives need to infiltrate both parties so that in 100 years American’s won’t have a choice.
Well it has been 100 years and we are at this tipping point.
Romney might be better for Conservatives than Obama but he won’t help the country in the long run.
We will still have government healthcare and we will get some form of BS amnesty.
