Those of us who are lucky enough to live in rural fly over country have been strugglig to keep our “red neck” attitudes for some time. We are mocked and ridiculed for keeping traditions. If we could just keep the urban shores from invading our territories, life would be more true to the norms mentioned in the article.

I keep my circle of friends and even family close, and those I know who would not see my positions and preparations agreeable, well, they are left in the dark...
