True, but getting demonized for no reason gets gets old. Once, just once, I’d like to have a political discussion with one of these mopes without having to swear under my breath.
Of course, I have a better chance of seeing the US debt free, but a guy can dream, right ?

I visited a shrink only once in my life. That was 35 years ago and lasted three visits.
On the third visit, the shrink said “We’ve got a problem here. Your test results show that you’re the kind of person who will discontinue therapy once you think your problem is resolved. You need to understand that therapy is an ongoing, life-long process.”
I thought for a (very short) moment and replied “You are correct. In fact, I think I feel better already. Good-bye!”
I’m going with option B-—Gypsies. Psychiatry has become one of the biggest scams in American history. This isn’t to say mental illness doesn’t exist or that it doesn’t need to be treated, but psychiatry these days doesn’t focus on treating mental illness, it focuses on pushing bizarre lib agendas.

You also need to understand that this character needs a life long customer paying a hundred bucks an hour twice a week, if I’m not mistaken. :)
Again, I’m not talking about psychiatrists who deal with PTSD or folks with serious mental disorders. I’m talking about flim flam artists who try to convince normal people that they’re depressed, it’s all their mother’s fault, or that they’re a closeted homosexual. Psychiatry has nothing to do with any of that stuff.

Right you are. I only hold my breath when I’m downwind of the filthy progs.
Of course its painful - its never nice to be deliberately misrepresented, especially by people who indulge in the same thing they claim you’re guilty of.
Right you are. The Progs are guiltiest of the things they accuse others of doing. They are lost. It is a sin to bear false witness against your neighbor. But this is what they delight in doing. It defines them.
My take is you shouldn’t try to defend yourself in kind. Slanging matches with these people is like mud wrestling a pig. After a while you realise the pig actually enjoys it.
