I congratulate Ted Cruz on a hard-fought victory and a well-executed campaign. Ted is a force to be reckoned with: an excellent candidate and a great conservative communicator. I call on all conservative Texans to rally behind Ted Cruz in November... You will note of course that he did NOT say, "all TEXANS." Conversely one should note of course that he did NOT qualify his "excellent candidate" remark.
Taken all together, now that Perry's Lt. governor is out, it looks like Perry is now supporting Cruz.

Conversely one should note of course that he did NOT qualify his "excellent candidate" remark. The statement itself is a qualification, as he did employ the usual for politicians: 'The next Senator for the State of Texas...!!!"
Win or lose, he's covered, and thus exemplifying his usual priority.

Conversely one should note of course that he did NOT qualify his "excellent candidate" remark. BTW, note also how this matches Cheney's backhanded compliment about Palin. He was noting that although she did help McCain in the election, it doesn't mean he thought she was ready to step in as President should the need have arisen. Politicians habitually choose such words carefully.

“I’m just excited to know that the moderate Washington DC party girl, KBH will be replaced by a movement conservative.
Texas may finally have a great Conservative Senator. Next: primary Cornyn out of the Senate.”
Well said.
Bump.
