What other conservative would that be Kemosabe?

You obviously didn’t read the post. That is the record of a big government moderate at best.

VP Newt Gingrich and president Romney. I still won’t vote for Romney the liberal. Newt is hurting the conservative cause and has sold out to the establishment. He can now push Rick under 25% and lift Romney to take all delegates. Thanks a lot newt. I was voting for you if Rick doesn’t make it. Not anymore.

I think Newt is smart, but Newt isn’t wise. Something in him gets in the way of that. I won’t say what that may be because I am going to refrain from being nasty as I promised another here yesterday that I was going to stop it.

So, pray tell, who do you see as wise enough?

What path forward do you see for Santorum winning the nomination?

Newt was telling the truth about Santorum, which is why he will never throw his delegates and support to Santo. He knows Santo all too well, because Newt trained him. Newt does not like the way Santo threw everything he was taught, away in such a short time. Newt also knows what a disaster it would be if Little Ricky wins the nomination.

Romney told outright lies about Newt and destroyed him at a critical time, which Newt could not refute due to the lack of funding. Santorum emerged out of pure luck, having been in the right place at the right time. Also, the fact that Santorum was considered as so far out of the race, nobody saw the need to fully investigate him, or vet his past.

Santorum rose out of blind desperation, as the last “Not Romney” candidate, after all the others failed or had been destroyed, bot because he is some amazing and dynamic savior of the country like his followers claim.

I was looking for a conservative path. I thought newt and Rick would both beat up Romney the liberal. I wanted to see a newt Rick ticket. Now newt is handing Romney the presidency. He’s apparently made a deal with the GOP and establishment. VP, sec of Ed.....he sold out the base.

After the polls and the maps and the delegates to date, factor this:

In Illinois, Santorum’s Chance at Nomination Is Slipping Away (Rick’s last stand)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2861360/posts

Newt’s fault?

That we are even here at this point is arguably Santorum’s call, for not doing what Perry and Cain did and backing Newt after the Romney onslaught that drove Newt’s numbers into the dumpster.

Right now polls show Romney will take IL big. Very big.

That’s not Newt.

Did Newt hang around after the Romney destruction machine flattened him? Sure. Would you put your tail between your legs and run, after millions in lying ads flattened you, or would you stand up and move foward?

And if you’re Newt, you’ve got even more reason to stand up and move forward. You’re not exactly throwaway material.

Many of us said Rick didn’t have the juice against Romney, long haul.

And before you do it, before you say, oh, but Rick has a better chance than Newt, just look at polls and maps and such, I’m not saying Newt can beat Romney now. Once, he could have. Rick make sure to help take that opportunity away. I’m saying neither of them can win it outright.

At the convention, it doesn’t look good either right now.

Given that sad fact, I’m glad Newt is there to rage against the beast.

There are plenty of truths about Newt also. So who is Newt going to throw his support behind? That small government guy Mitt Romney?

The only other one on the horizon would be Obama because Newt has no chance of getting the nomination. It is over.

In my lifetime, only Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich have bent the the Federal Juggernaut to their will-and ultimately to the benefit of We the People.

In the absence of these two on the public stage, in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s...America would have been where it is today over 25 years ago.

It is why the Federal Juggernaut will never allow Newt to darken the door of the White House.
