6 to 8% of Santorum's votes were Obama Democrats.....Believe it.
LOL! Give me a break. The GOP nominee, whomever he happens to be, will be the next President of the United States.
Plausible and enough to tilt the election to ricky.
AS I have never been one of the Freepers too effing stupid to understand that Democrat crossovers are backing Romney with every fiber of their being, I think I will give that notion the ridicule it properly merits, and ridicule every idiot who puts it forth as well.
Thank you for making me smile.
Alabama Party ID GOP Santorum 34, Gingrich 32, Romney 30
IND Santorum 33, Romney 27, Gingrich 25
He won without the 6% Democrats that crossed over and were not reported in the exit polls.
Miss GOP Santorum 34, Gingrich 32, Romney 31
IND Santorum 29, Romney 28, Gingrich 25
Again, the 4% Democrats that crossed over were not in the exit polls.
Winning these groups put him over the top. I suppose the Dims could have contributed to the margin of victory. A place where the numbers show best is that he won or tied in most conservative categories and won most of those who view the TEA Party as neutral or better.
I live in a southeastern state Santorum won. I saw Santorum yard signs before the primary and see more of them now. I have yet too see even one Newt sign though. As a matter of fact I’ve even seen Ron Paul signs. If Newt wanted POTUS Newt should have worked for regaining public trust. Holding an office again before running for POTUS would have went very, very, far in helping him win this election. He didn’t and people did not vote for a man who resigned a high ranking office under pressures of scandal it’s just that simple. His own actions such as helping Queen Nancy on GoreBull Warming damaged him further.
It’s also possible that some southern democrats are just sick and tired of Obama.
Seems like Rush proposed the same thing in 08. If this has already been mentioned NO I didn’t read every post.

If I were a Democrat, and in an open primary state, I’d certainly vote for Santorum. He is without a doubt the weakest GOP candidate left in the race.
I know his proponents don’t believe that but its true. The play book used against him in ‘06 is going to work just as well in 12.
Don’t know if the allegations that they are playing with our primary are true, but I know if I was a leftist, that’s exactly who I’d want as the nominee.
