IMHO, the republicans have NOT provided a ‘decent’ presidential candidate since RR. Certainly not GHWB or Jr, the Compassionate Conservative. The GOP is the only viable alternative to vote AGAINST a democrat, regardless if it is at the Fed, state or local level.
Bush fatigue certainly made it tough on any GOP Presidential candidate, but a vote for any democrat is a vote for socialism.
