Three burly terrorists rush the cockpit door.....
Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?
Three burly terrorists: No sir, we’ve never been up in a plane before.
Captain Oveur: You guys ever seen a grown man naked?
“This is completely unfair. How can we reach paradise if we're refused boarding onto airplanes? We have spent months and months learning how to knit with these 14” sharpened knitting needles, as well as practicing our plans over and over again, and the airline simply took one look at us and told us we can't board, that we're not welcome on this flight.”
A further investigation turned up some more details. Airline spokesperson Anne Gables said, “The men were offered the option of traveling on three separate flights. They were taking off within a half hour of each other, and they could have reunited at their destination with little difficulty.
“Our screeners, all Israeli trained, felt that letting these three on the same flight was a danger to the flight and refused their boarding. Our policy at that point is to try to find alternate accommodation, and that was when a service representative contacted other airlines and made arrangements for the tickets of two of the men to be honored for different flights with other airlines. In fact, all three tickets were upgraded to business class.
“The customers refused the upgrade and refused the accommodation, stating that they felt that they were being put in the same sections with the Sky Marshals, and separated because of their radical Islamic viewpoints. Our screeners agreed with that assessment, a protected right under federal law now.”
Due to changes in federal law, the passengers have no right to appeal the airline's decision, nor seek a penalty in court. “It is the right of everyone, even those who are undocumented, to fly, and this is a civil rights issue!” declared the Imman who is apparently acting as the attorney for the three passengers.
ICE officials would not comment as to the legal status of the passengers, nor respond to a report that they all had expired visas. Though a spokesman noted, “When the TSA was in the airport, everyone was treated equally. No one says anything about a 90 year old grandma in a hand knitted sweater getting aboard with knitting needles, why should they care about three burly guys who happen to be Muslim? If you're going to bar them, you should bar everyone!”
I am a little unclear from the video - Is the purpose and funding of this program ONLY to train pilots so they can carry a gun in the cockpit?
I love that guy!
“Well, if it was during lunch the passengers could use their plastic knives and forks to subdue them.”
Or their laptops chargers, shoelaces, belts, and whatever other things can be brought to hand as weapons.
If you are not afraid to die you can disable even a burly terrorist with theses things and yourself. Yeah, he can cut your throat, but not before you gouge his eyes out. And if they succeed in taking the cockpit, I figure I am dead anyway, my life for his eyes seems like a fair trade to me. It’s hard to take over an airliner if you cannot see.
And I would bet that I am not the only aisle-seat preferring passenger that thinks that way.
Terrorists will never again succeed in using airliners as cruise missiles. The unorganized militia of the Unites States of America will see to that — even in an Obamanation.
I got a solution...howzabout letting CCW carriers exercise their Second Amendment Right while flying?
Sounds good. Except even flight deck officers have been stopped, detained and harassed by the morons at TSA.
I felt that the fact that the program is already underfunded was made clear in the exchange between Cravaack and Napolitano on the video and needed no further discussion. Also, I thought the fact that personnel changes are a fact of life needed no discussion. From your comments, I can see that perhaps I was wrong in my suppositions. I’ll try to watch it in the future.
I actually phoned Cravaack’s office and was able to speak to him directly. The funding is primarily for flight deck officer background checks training - but the training goes far beyond simple handgun use. It also entails self defense, disarming and negotiation.
Well, finally your ‘’hitting’’ something worth while!
You are exactly correct. All of the TSA stuff is just kabuki theatre - the real difference is that the other passengers now realize that this is not a free vacation to Cuba.
FIFY. You're welcome.
HAHAHA! I know - it is so ridiculous. Old ladies and six year olds but we can’t do any racial profiling.
