The constant barrage of right-wing criticism leveled at the president by his enemies has reached unacceptably perilous magnitude, Jackson insisted.
When a governor is allowed to point her finger at him or a member of Congress is permitted to get away with calling him a liar we must acknowledge that rhetoric has gone too far. When a governor has to point her finger at a president who flies into her state to bully her, things have gone too far. When bishops have to order priests to announce from the pulpit that a church cannot obey an unconstitutional law, things have gone way, way too far.The First Amendment, and the entire Bill of Rights, was added to the Constitution despite the understanding of the framers that those rights were already protected in the basic document. And despite fears that any explicit Bill of Rights would be treated as a ceiling, rather than a floor, on the rights of the people.
And here we have a government presuming to order a church to violate its principles, just because.
J.Jackson is a race pimp.
On another note, has anyone seen his bastard child lately?
No not the one in DC the one he fathered while Clinton was in office.
Hypocrite POS, not a real preacher.
and where is Mr. Twana Brawley the race whore....
the not so rt rev Sharp, haven't heard a peep out of him lately.
Obama should have his balls disenfranchised. Of course, the qualifying factor is does he have balls. There are some reports he maybe lacking same.
Yes, calling Bush a baby killer was not inflammatory or anything.
What Jesse needs to understand is that we don’t have a king in the USA. The president is elected by the folks. He works for us. We have every right to criticize him and the Governor of a sovereign state certainly doesn’t have to stand like a schoolgirl and take a verbal spanking. This guy is beyond arrogant. Respect works two ways.
So says America’s race racketeer..
Why couldn’t James Earl Ray’s round have Popped Jesse “Jackass” Jackson instead of Dr King!?
Have you ever seen the pictures of Jesse at the scene with blood on his shirt?
He put it there. He was no where near Rev. King at the time of the shooting.
