I thought Santorum waffled too much on SOPA.
Was against it/for it/conditionally concerned by it/WTH?/yay freedom!...sort of.
Newt owned the night with incredible grandiosity.
Moot needs to borrow <0s teleprompter.
Hes stammering when hes not reciting his memorized boilerplate.
[the falter & stammer parts were delicious and the eye-rolling was oh-so-Obama-esque]
Oh, and RuPaul was there, too.
[I think]
Hubby concurs and the Boa kept trying to flee over the back of my chair every time RuPaul started babbling.

Newt has a good track record of this sort of thing. Anyone else recall his response to that vapid reporter (MTV?) who asked him the “Boxers or Briefs” question (that had been previously asked of Clinton) when he was Speaker?

King kind of reminded me of a tiny little man taking a feeble swing at a veteran gladiator and then getting casually and all too easily disemboweled for it in front of a roaring crowd.

“I thought Santorum waffled too much on SOPA.”
Pretty much killed it for me. Goodbye Rick!
But I’m even more ticked off that we have Republicans such as Lamar Smith and Marsha Blackburn who strongly support the actual SOPA bill.

Blew him outta the water for me, too.
Will Lamar and Marsha be singing the same tune today, considering the audience reaction last night, I wonder?

I would have called him “Hugs.”

I did briefly consider “Strangles” after the Simpsons epidsode....LOL
Hubby calls him “Bob Boa”.
[hubby really didn’t want me to get *another* snake but Brom has cleverly wrapped himself around hubby’s shoulders and his heart]
Smart snake.
Now we go to the store and it’s “Would ‘Bob’ like this? Would ‘Bob’ like that?”.
Sneaky-smart snake...LOL

No. Do tell.
Back in the mid-1990s, Bill Clinton was asked the infamous "boxers or briefs?" question by a teenager at an MTV forum. And actually answered it.
So, at a different venue, a young reporter then asked the same question of Gingrich. Who replied "I think that's a very stupid question. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I think it's stupid for you to ask that question."
To: tanknetter
Really.
I bet Newt doesn’t even use underwear of any kind. He’s probably nekid under those trousers.

He called the open marriage accusation by his ex-wife "despicable." Not accurate. He said "To take an ex-wife and make it, two days before the primary, a signifigant question in a presidential campaign is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine...I am frankly astounded that CNN would take trash like that and use it to open a Presidential debate."
While the accusation itself may well be despicable, Newt was calling out the use of these accusations by CNN and the media in a presidential debate.
