I’m not dividing, I was correcting a person who was lying about the role, size, and impact of social conservatives.
Social conservatism is the foundation of conservatism, social liberals are the foundation of liberalism.
It may be the foundation of yours, but it gives you no claim of ownership to anyone else’s.
Really, I have no idea what your point is, you seem bugged by social conservatives but you don’t explain why or what is annoying you.
Would you like to see some libertarian platform positions?
I am not "bugged" by "social conservatives". I am "bugged" by people who assert that I should want something else. Are you one of them?

I don’t know why you keep posting to me, your posts are too vague and cryptic for me to make any sense of them.
I think we're done.
Again, vague, I hope you have learned that social conservatism is the foundation of conservatism.
I hope you learned that I don’t let you define my political philosophy, but I doubt that you’re willing to accept that it’s not your place to do it.
I just don’t understand you, I don’t know what you were trying to say there, I haven’t tried to define you in anyway.
I have guessed that you are against social conservatism but your posts are so vague that I can only guess at what you are trying to hint at.
There are those of us who consider ourselves libertarians, who are pro-life.
In fact, in our more contemplative moments, we might wonder whether there’s a conflict between being pro-life, and capital punishment....
(not trying to cause trouble here, mind you)
Many lower-case libertarians are motivated by the Constitution of the United States, and patriotism.
Which means, a strong military, and meaningfully defended American borders.
Not all political definitions are black and white.
The baseline of our political system is the original intent of the US Constitution. A person is politically conservative to the degree that he wants the government to conform to that. That is the objective definition of political conservativism.
That's what I want. You can play whatever semantic games you want to try and convice me that "conservative" actually means something else, but I'm not going to buy it.
I have to try to guess at what you mean, but I get the feeling that you agree with the far left on a lot of social issues and that you work against conservatives on them, my guess is that is what you want to do on this thread.
Well, why don’t you just ping up a moderator and report me for abuse or being a liberal troll. I’m willing to let them sort it out. Are you?
Man you are in some very weird world, your posts are just too out there for me.
I tried to be done with it once, and you wouldn’t leave it alone. Do you just want the last word?
I never did figure out what you were trying to get at, but yes, I have had my fill of weirdness for today.
I thought this was a joke. Rick Santorum is against diminutive ladies at the library? What a jerk!
Then I read Jacobsen’s title.
I’ll bet not.
Great. Every guy I like has a bimbo problem. Cain was all up in the white admin assistants, newt was into the teachers, and now we learn Santorum is all up against the short librarians. Probably so they fit behind the book rows better.
