Yeah, maybe, but the media says that Americans own a total of 300 million guns.
So, that means that no new guns have been bought since 1964 because I remember way back then, and they then said Americans owned 300 million guns in 1964, 1968, 1972. Even though the population nearly doubled since 1964, Gun ownership has not increased at all.
>>...I am glad to see so many of my fellow Americans decided to exercise their right to keep and bear arms over the last year and I hope we continue to see record growth in gun ownership in the year to come. America, Hell Yeah!...<<
This is *GREAT* news. Except the down side — I’m now into the 5th month awaiting an NFA tax stamp. The inspectors are apparently *swamped*.

I thought they were NOT giving out the tax-stamp for new-manufacture machine-guns... or is this for a SBR?
Gun and Ammo the only sector showing any increase in sales during the Obamaconomy. This is a good sign. Can anyone name a single product that is posting sales numbers like Guns and Ammo.
Easy, Steve. May send you a FREEP Mail on that statement, sometime in the near future.
Mine’s for a suppressor. I don’t pay much attention to MG’s anymore — they’ve become too bloody expensive to feed.
All these stupid, middle-aged, liberal white men kissing obama’s butt. Little do they know they are at the top of his endangered species list.
Finally, I’m applying for my permit here in NJ....Wonder how long the waiting list is??????
Many NJ freepers would advise you not to hold your breath. The normal response that I hear is that unless you are politically connected, or perhaps a retired officer, you will be denied a permit. I hope that you prove them wrong.
Good luck on your application.
If you feel that you can, please let us know how things go. An ongoing account of the process to apply for a New Jersey permit would be educational, no matter what happens.
Well see, I’m in Hunterdon County, almost everyone has a firearm.....Thanks
It’s better than that - more guns means less crime.
