ossified perfect word for them
He was just on Fox calling out the Justice Dept. for trying to ensure they can steal the election in SC....GO NEWT!!!!
Matthew Dowd made an interesting comment today on This Week with Jake Tapper, when he said that all the attacks on Newt were made by Romney, plus all of Newt’s rivals vying for “second place.”
It seems that instead of going after Romney, Newt’s rivals were more concerned with Newt’s durability than Romney’s.
Very telling.
GO NEWT!
OTOH Mitt goes with the wind so if the nominee is Mitt we MUST have a conservative leaning congress because, unlike Reagan, Mitt has no core principles and won't stick his neck out.
That being said ,I'm voting for the candidate who ISN'T a Kenyan /muslim leaning marxist.
In the grand scheme of things Iowa is basically meaningless. In a few weeks nobody will even be remembering the Iowa caucus. Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney are the two top candidates and they will be duking it out for the nomination. Newt is going to take SC, Fl and GA and most if not all of the southern states. He has an excellent chance to win because there is no hard core support for Willard except in the backroom of the RNC.
Rush hasn't been paying attention if he's never seen anything like the attacks on Newt.
Insightful observation here
Have a super 2012, Onyx
Romney for Obama in 2008
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
NO comparison. Rush is right.
“Rush hasn’t been paying attention if he’s never seen anything like the attacks on Newt. “
He wasn’t around during the Reagan years then.
Anybody care to spare me the trouble?
You would think that folks like Palin, Barbour, and DeMint would endorse Newt. And help slow down the $10 million of mudslinging LIES BY liberals, rOMNEY AND pAUL. But I guess the’re TOO busy with the holidays and all.
Mitt terrifies me. As bad as he'd be as an executive with extreme experience in working with both sides of the aisle in pushing through the liberal agenda, his team is even worse, and the GOP being directed by a Mittens team would systematically support all the little Mittens out there who are dying to work with Mitt and push back this conservative body in the GOP.
Newt's team has a lot of axes to grind, but most of those blades are aimed at the very people I despise within the GOP. Yes, we'll have to hold Newt to the fire over and over again, and we'll groan and moan about his intellectual decisions that go against the conservative thought. But he can be controlled and managed through congress and would give a better ear to the TEA party movement.
Newt's not my first, second or third choice, but Mittens is my last choice - I will vote for anyone who can beat him if he makes it to the general.
If he finishes 4th in Iowa and 3rd or 4th in NH, you will find his SC and FL leads evaporated. If Santorum wins Iowa, the conservatives all over will tend to gravitate to him. Of course, if Santorum finishes 2nd or 3rd in Iowa and Newt has enough money to make a stand in SC and FL against the onslaught, he might win. That is highly unlikely. Unlike McCain or Romney, he does not have a huge war chest and alot of personal wealth to last.
I am in Florida. Will be doing all I can to make sure he wins here. I am truly ticked at the dishonesy, viciousness and treachery I am seeing against Newt. I am in “Whack-a-Mole” mode:
