Nick, my advice is to get into rehab., ASAP.
LOL Sarah Palin reaches out from Alaska and harasses a film crew in Washington.
October 24, 2010: Weve arrived or I have. Half my film crew have been arrested and deported.
SO?
Pretty obvious he’s only there because of his dark hate filled soul.
I don’t believe a word of the article.
This Bloomfield fellow is filled with hate and lies.
Sooooo...this is a new fiction writer?
LOL. I think he confused his nightlife with the airport experience.
I’m thinking the house wasn’t a meth lab, given the content of the article, it had to be LSD.
***’Sarah Palin country? It’s Deliverance in ice,’ says documentary maker Nick Broomfield
You should check out the backwoods of Bill Clinton Country, or the dirty little secrets of Bill Richardson country (New Mexico).
I’m sure Chicago is also a very sweet area with no scandals to mar it.
This is met with an audible gasp from the packed auditorium. Sarah looks startled. And I am escorted from the building.
Is that not the Q&A where she responds to that question by suggesting, 'let's ask the people here'?
Her quick and effective response didn't seem an indication of being startled to me.
Hey Nick,
The woman gets death threats as offen as I receive calls, e-mails, mail from GOP candidates asking for money. Maybe that has something to do with it fool.
I hear your muezzin calling you to Adhan.....chop-chop!
Um.....smoking hasn't been allowed in Seatac for many, many years.
Personally, I enjoyed the time I spent in Alaska, loved the people (especially that goth girl, before my celibacy oath.. ahem...). Nick sounds like he's got issues.

We were just given a preview of what the documentary might have contained. A very vivid imagination given to fantasy.
This Broomfield is the same punk who several years ago made the fictionalized “documentary” about the Haditha incident where Marines were ambushed by insurgents and responded. I guess he wanted to make a fictionalized “documentary” about Palin.
“Everything is going fine at Seattle airport until they find out we are doing a film about Sarah Palin. The authorities go mad.”
If you’re going to lie to try and bring some free PR to your crappy little hack film, learn the politics of the region you’re going to lie about.
Seattle is rabidly liberal and I’ve never heard anyone here say one nice word about Sarah Palin. NO ONE harassed these people at the airport because they’re making a Palin documentary.
It was something else.
Liberal Seattle gave him the once over ?
He blames Sarah in Alaska ?
This loser stalking Sarah in order to make a buck, just as Al Franken had to put Rush’s name in the title of his pathetic book to sell copies.
Sarah is out of the public eye and should ignore vermin such as this.
From his mouth to my manure spreader...
To wit:
Everything is going fine at Seattle airport until they find out we are doing a film about Sarah Palin. The authorities go mad. They search our bags and detain my two researchers.
They first change planes in Seattle, and any TSA agent in Seattle (over 1000 miles away from Alaska) even cares? But, this is standard procedures for people who fly to the US and are working - you apparently DO need a work visa from the US. From a UK website, NO visa is needed unless several conditions trigger the need. Here is #4:
"Traveller is not a journalist on assignment nor an individual seeking gainful employment." The entire crew needed a proper work visa, and they stayed from Oct 24 - Dec 19. So they knew something about the rules.
My cover for the documentary is blown.
No, you need to legally declare your intentions when you apply for a work visa.
the Wasilla branch of Homeland Security ... has been told all about us.
Sorry, but the federal gov't does not seem to have a Wasilla branch in place to watch over you, Nicky. There is a local LEPC, but they tend to work mostly with the EPA ... probably not staffed with Palin supporters.
Wasilla is Alaskas methamphetamine capital.
Very snarky, little Nicky. I am sure that you fully support the WOD. That line comes directly from an old blogger Wonkette, and has been repeated by every liberal blogger around. More current stats on Wasilla, a suburb of a large city:
"Wasilla, Alaska is home to 9,780 people. The police will make roughly 60 arrests this year for drug charges and 40 arrests for DUIs. Wasilla, Alaska is no stranger to substance abuse with 490 marijuana users, 195 people who abuse prescription drugs, 80 people who use some form of cocaine living in its community."
Not perfect, but hardly a raging epidemic.
... but all those superstores and the freeway plunging through the town have messed things up. ... (photo caption) Destroyed: Once-pretty Wasilla was wrecked by planners ... I genuinely admire Sarahs celebration of the outdoors. Yet as Mayor of Wasilla, she deregulated planning laws to allow the complete destruction of what once had been a very pretty town.
Not even sure what to say, since he is coming from the UK, where central planners have destroyed a once-freedom loving society.
A single moose keeps a family for an entire winter.
Yes, he really said this, discussing a "dinner party" which included Colleen Cottle. I suspect that this sentence wasn't the only hyperbole in the article.
To stay healthy, we hit Dinalis gym. Every morning, at 6.15am, we don shorts and jump into our Ford Focus, the tyres studded with nails for the icy roads.
Ummm ... after all the whiskey they enjoyed, I would hope that they stay off the roads.
