I’m from the 80s myself, but somehow my tastes keep going back in time.
At this point, stuff that came out when I was still in my pedal-car is the most pleasing, particularly 62-72 let’s say. I particularly focus on the best British stuff that wasn’t widely known in the States... Status Quo, etc
Blues rock like those guys got all the ‘edge’ you could ask for:

And thanx for the music vid suggestions - not too sure abt Status Quo but love Humble Pie (I have a play list of them) and ZZ Top is THE BEST - they really shine in the Crossroads concert! So does, oddly, Vince Gill who can play the blues with the best of ‘em...
