The section you posted this in means nothing.
***Then why do so many seagulls whine about something being posted in news? Because it does mean something.
You are attempting to try to pass off this fraud with “news” stories.
***It is a bunch of news stories. So, somehow it’s a crime to post news stories?
Your own title “Multiple News Developments on E-Cat, LENR” says so.
***And it is so. It is also posted in Bloggers/Personal so quit whining.
Are you really that dumb in life? Better wear a helmet.
***As dumb as I am, I got on your six and chew tail feathers of a seagull at will. T4BTT Thanks for bumping the thread.
How long do you think it will take before the real/fraud question is settled?
If there are no satisfied customers by next summer then the scam claims become more valid to me.
Keep up the good work. If all it took were skeptics without a mathematical analysis to disprove an observation, then ball lightning couldn’t exist and all those who’ve seen it would be labeled as kooks.

Here’s another mystery for the real kooks to chew on. It is a Stanford University News article entitled: The strange case of solar flares and radioactive elements. Let the blazing wizards of this thread engage in a rabid denial that there is a link between solar activity and nuclear decay rates since there is no known mechanism.
Heres another mystery for the real kooks to chew on. It is a Stanford University News article entitled: The strange case of solar flares and radioactive elements. The difference between something like this and Rossi's gadget is that these Stanford researchers won't refuse to let other researchers try to duplicate their work.
And they certainly won't threaten to put "self destruct" mechanisms in their test equipment to prevent anyone else from testing their claims.
And, they probably don't have a history of fraud convictions, as does Rossi.

Game, set match!
All us skeptics want is a test done that isn't controlled or designed by Rossi. Why won't he allow that? His story about someone stealing his invention is a crock. Can you think of any reason he wouldn't want an independent test to put to rest whether the E-cat is real or not?
Simple, it doesn't work. If I though it worked, I'd put my name on the list to buy one.
I have posted in the past my idea about an artificial line in the sand. I chose November 2012 in the hopes that this does turn out to be real but Obama cannot take credit for it because he’ll be voted out of office.
You just pegged the hypocrit meter.
***Aren’t you the dude with the Physics degree who refuses to publish the scientific refutation of LENR / Rossi in the scientific press? Talk about hypocrisy.
Instead, you insist on making the rest of us read
***Yeah, right, like you are pulled kicking & screaming onto these LENR threads.
My unsolicited advice: WHenever you see johhny, toad, moon, dino, 813, lx, et al. just move on. They are only here to disrupt and provoke silly arguments. They are not worth a few seconds of my life reading their silliness. The one thing trolls have in common is they positively can’t stand to be ignored. That is the stake thru their black hearts. I look at the poster first, that saves me much time in catching up on a thread.
Just to be sure, make it Monday January 21, 2013 please :) Zero will officially exit on Inauguration Day which is on January 20.
“I got on your six and chew tail feathers of a seagull at will.”
Do you always go around talking in childish tones using childish name calling? “Seagulls”? Really, what’s next, are you going to say something about my mother?
You have an inflated ego if you think in any way you have responded appropriately to any challenge about your Rossi scam. You simply are personally vested in this scam as you cannot possibly tolerate finding out you were wrong all along.
It was one thing to check out a possibly new technology, but it is an immature and fragile ego that thinks it just has to be true or else the whole world shatters.
Seagulls? Really,
***Yes, it is a particularly apt description of your behavior. Besides, I don’t know your mother.
Good point.
The problem with ignoring trolls is the lurkers. They’ll follow a thread until it generates crickets. And if the last one on that sub-thread was a seagull, by virtue of default they will consider that argument settled. But it ain’t so.
I think you were told to stop the seagull nonsense. You probably should listen.
You waited online all night just to respond to this? Get a life.
Seagulls? Really,
***
What I meant to say was: Yes, it is a particularly apt description of your colleagues’ and your behavior. Besides, I dont know your mother.
Could an E-Cat Anticipation Effect Depress Economic Activity?

If you were planning to purchase a new car, and all of a sudden learned that in two years time a vehicle was coming on the market that would have double the fuel economy of todays best models for a similar price, what would you do? Would you go ahead and buy a new car right away, or wait a couple of year until the superior vehicle was available? If it was me, I would probably wait. If my current car was roadworthy Id plan to keep driving it for two more years, but if I really needed a new vehicle, Id look for a cheaper used model to tide me over until I could buy the superior model. Widespread anticipation of a better car would mean trouble for the entire auto industry.
Such a scenario is not dissimilar to the situation that some people are finding themselves in right now regarding the E-Cat. They want to make their homes or businesses more energy efficient and may have been considering a new heating or cooling system, or perhaps installing solar panels to help provide electricity and hot water. When they hear that in a few years time a much more efficient heating system (and perhaps electricity generation) may be available they could decide to wait until E-Cat units are available.
As news of the E-Cat spreads, as it seems to be doing right now, this E-Cat anticipation effect could be magnified which would mean trouble for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, both for the manufacturers and the installers of HVAC systems.
Of course all we have to go on regarding availability of E-Cat units are the projections given by Andrea Rossi who says that home-based E-Cats wont be available for another two years. That timeline could be longer, or shorter based on a number of factors particularly the actions of regulatory agencies, since Rossi has said he cant put anything on the market that is not perfectly legal.
Is anyone out there basing purchasing decisions on your anticipation of E-Cat availability?
Yes, I see your points. You as thread author have a certain responsibility to “moderate” the thread. WHile I might proceed somewhat differently, I shall leave it in your good hands.
And thanks again for finding all these articles and discussion blogs.
Your disassembley of Kevmo's boilerplate in post #26 is also quite nicely done. As a working scientist I must strongly second your assertion that "Scientists are often the easiest to fool." Nature is subtle but not generally deceptive. The masters of deception are magicians and criminals. Scientist are usually not qualified to evaluate their activities.
Kevmo, I appreciate your efforts in bringing us this interesting information but you need to relax and become a lot less thin skinned. You are behaving as if refutation of the factual nature of the material you are posting is a personal attack. It is not.
