Just sent that link out to my friends. A pleasure to watch. And remarkable that a deep water canyon goes all the way to shore in that one spot in the world.

Back in 1974, we spent three weeks at Ericeira, a fishing village on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, with some of our children. Great beaches. Although the water was even colder there than we were used to off the coast of Maine.

I think Bodi from “Point Break” rode a bigger wave at Bells Beach. They never did find the body so we don’t know ifhe ever made it.
