I have posted this before but when we lived in PA there was a kindergarten teacher in our district who was making $101,000 a year. She was probably a decent teacher, but seriously, how tough is it to teach kindergarten?
If you had been teaching for at least 10 years and held a masters degree, you were in the $80-85K range.
Of course some of that salary went back to the Union in the form of dues.

These scumbag morons told everyone that if we just approved casino gambling in Pennsylvania that all our school-funding issues would go away. They told us that property taxes would go down. They lied.....like they always do. Exactly

“Pa. Public Schools Doomed, Doomed, Doomed Say Dems.”
Good, good, good. If a person who you paid to clean your house did as bad of a job as the PA government schools, you’d fire them without a second thought. And you’d probably sue them as well.

I can remember back in the day when my 6th grade teacher was also the principal of the school. Now you can’t keep track of all the school administrators in a district.
Whoever heard of a Curriculum Coordinator back then, or principals for every grade in middle and high school.
Theses people are all making huge salaries and pensions. Plus, medical insurance...

Now you cant keep track of all the school administrators in a district. And they all get six-figures, summers off and short days.

She was probably a decent teacher, but seriously, how tough is it to teach kindergarten? The teachers like to complain about all the money they are giving up by not taking jobs in the private sector.
I shake my head.

If “doomed” = “failed”, then they’d be right.

“Parents are suppose to be in charge, not the teachers union.
The teacher unions’ job is to create as many social failures as possible, because social failure increases the democrat base. “
Unfortunately, going after the teachers’ unions isn’t going to solve the problem. Government schooling is a disaster with or without teachers unions, particularly for Christian families.

It's not about the kids any more.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It has **never** been about the children. Please read John Gatto’s, “The Underground History of American Education”.
