You can overlook Perry’s security efforts on the border all you want but, it’s still the FedGovs job. We aren’t even allowed to post National Guard troops without permission from the WH.
IMO, Perry in the WH will make our border safer.
He supported and signed the “Texas Dream Act”. I doubt we could claim “Surprise” if he supports a “US Dream Act”. He can not blame the federal government for a law enacted and signed by Texas lawmakers.
Also, if he is tough on border, why does he not support states trying to take a stand? Simple - he does not agree with them. What would change if he makes it to White House.
