I just love the sound of it. Now we all CLEARLY see that all of this, all of the “stimulus”, all of the “green” carney hack scams, the entire Obama regime and the Marxist cabal running this country is about looting as much cash as possible from the Treasury. That’s it. Dump half a billion into a fake Potempkin Plant, let the executives skim about 10% of that off the top, of which a certain percentage goes right back to the Obama regime through campaign contributions, bring in other cronies as “investors” and then subordinate the government loan BEHIND the crony “investors”, and finally BK the whole thing in 12 months and sell off the equipment and assets to even more cronies for 10 cents on the dollar.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Obama is about as interested in “green energy” as he is in girls. All these people care about is hustling and robbing the taxpayers blind for as much as possible.

Too much more of this and someone might start talking about a tax strike. Hmmmm. . . .

I’m not sure where you’re going.

I’m saying that everything God has created is inherently good. Since evil is not good, it cannot have been “created” by God.

Yes, they need money - other people’s money, thus killing two birds with the one stone. We’ll be broke and at their mercy because they’re not spenting a cent of their own. They won’t even pay their taxes. Why do they need so much: http://www.americanhumanist.org/who_we_are/about_humanism/Humanist_Manifesto_I

I watch for little things that cue me that the person does not consider other peoples rights or concerns. If I notice some evidence of that, even in what seems to be a small case, the alarms bells start going off.

I recall someone in one of my first CCW classes. He had to kill two people in self defense about 30 years ago. He picked up three hitchhikers. One of them turned the radio station dial to stations that she wanted, without asking. Later, they put him in his trunk, and he listened to them ploting to take him out in the desert to torture and kill him.

Now, when I see someone do something like that (turning the radio dial in another person's car while the ride is a favor, without asking), my alerts go sky high.

I have an interesting take on psychopathia. Oddly enough, that the range of variation among psychopaths is so great, that as a group, they are the natural human state.

Caring and empathy, however, are the aberration. Caring only exists in a very narrow psychological range. About any effort to change your state of awareness, in any direction, and caring goes right out the window. Yet people put vast amounts of attention into this small function, to the point where they assume that caring is the natural state of mind.

Most people actually like psychopaths, as people, and especially as leaders, because they do not qualify what they do with emotion. “You always know where you stand” with a psychopath, even if he is lying to you. They are often thought of as competent, intelligent, and objective, because their ideas are not clouded with caring.

"The individuals who constitute this 4 percent drain our relationships, our bank accounts, our accomplishments, our self-esteem, our very peace on earth. "

They are also your war heroes and surgeons. Cops. Firefighters.

While the writer refers to Sociopaths, the book, Mask of Sanity, refers to them as what they are: Psychopaths.

The vast majority of Psychopaths are not bad people. They have enormous impacts on human society both good and bad.

I posted a link above to the American Humanist Society. I think secular humanism mimics the psychopath, at least, the seasoned humanists. I’ve chatted with them online and in person. They see nothing wrong with eugenics, forced sterilizations, abortions... I don’t believe they’re psychopaths, only people who’ve trained themselves by self-will and mystical meditation, to become a nothingness - devoid of sensations. They believe that the mind and body are the same therefore strictly material, and, as such, have no qualms in saying a baby in the womb is a “clump of cells” rather than a precious gift from God. A belief in physicalism requires that we deny the existence of things like sensations, thoughts, emotions, desires, beliefs, and free choice since materials don’t have these type of properties. We have a body and a soul whereas the philosophy of dualism teaches the difference between brain (matter) and mind (soul). Physicalism is consistent with materialism and evolutionism and are the foundations for secular humanism. Dewey was a humanist and did much to ruin our schools with the help of his buddies in Europe.

“I was once told that one of the hardest things in life is for good people to realize that evil exists because it is so unlike them.”

Very true despite the fact we read about them every day. I remember when I first realized it, it was when I was unraveling these “shadow” government people and their plans, which I discovered from an institution in Boston, run by a bunch of professors. I used to trust what people told me - today I check everything. It’s exhausting and the carefreeness has gone from the lives that discover it. That in itself is evil.

Scary story. It used to be animals they tortured but then some believe human beings and animals are equal. So much so that another Czar of Zero’s believe they should have the same rights.

This may be true from the opposite tack as well. Though “caring” is a small part of the psyche, it may be intertwined with the belief in a “caring God”.

That is, belief in a caring God may be of great assistance in keeping a focus on a caring mind, instead of living in and using that vast amount of the psyche that is uncaring.

Yet, for most people, caring is not very strong and is easy to exhaust, at which time, despite what they desire, they just no longer have the energy to care.

I am reminded of the efforts by liberals to try an force caring from the public about various liberal concerns. This in lieu of actually doing anything, the belief that if people care enough, everything will be good.

But this diverts caring from its real purpose—to care about others so that you sacrifice and help them, which is what a caring God would want. Instead, liberals want care to be wasted on things that cannot be changed, depleted doing senseless and useless things.

What does it mean to care? It demands our attention but does all of our cares command a solution? It would take too long to discuss philosophically.

I used to dig deep into the psyche and read stuff like Jung et al. I also used to be a bleeding heart liberal and all it entails. I didn’t connect what Jesus taught, the greatest teacher of all, with the secular world. One was religion and the other secular everyday living. And that was/is shameful indocrination. Jesus is my greatest teacher today, e.g., I understand what He meant when he told us to teach a man to fish... As I wrote in another post, helping others makes us feel good, and insodoing it helps others. I follow Jesus Christ today and my life is serene, until I get into politics, which Jesus also mentioned. :) The golden rule - love God above all, and thy neighbor as thyself. The humanists golden rule - do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. I believe we all have a God hole, we’re free to choose what to fill it with, unfortunately kids are only given an opportunity to experience one side of the equation.
