You knock on the door – it’s always closed. Always. Often you have to knock for some time before being given approval from inside to enter. The big screen will be on – the volume loud. You can easily hear it from outside the door. The sports channels are the ones most commonly playing, though sometimes the channel will be set to music, or Fox News. Sometimes Valerie Jarrett might be there, but most often it is just the president and his personal aide.......
So where are the Obamas off to next month?
Oktoberfest? No too unrefined and way too white.
Vermont? No, they are actually liberal granola, which makes the First Arugalas uncomfortable.

Almost certainly. In the grand scheme of things, Reggie is a low-level functionary: he doesn’t weigh in on politics or policy. Yet his office is right next to the Oval Office.

Youi missed one thing. He had an opponent in the U. S. Senate DemonRat primary whom he also knocked out by opening divorce papers and discovering a sex scandal. Lots of mysterious “strangers” out there.
In fairness, Reggie Love also frequently plays basketball with POTUS...

A master stroke would have been for the deep-pocket donors to buy an American property for zerO(for the Clinton’s, too, of course). Somewhere in the heart of their base areas or, in the case of zerO, in Illinois. Something with a name on par w/Prairie Chapel or the Kennedy Compound on Hyannis Port. or maybe one of the grand estates in Virginia, close to DC. Wouldn’t the black base love that image?
Comfortable, great for photo ops, secure. They could have staged family-centered Thanksgiving and Christmas there, 4th of July parties, birthdays, even fundraisers and been free of criticism. Instead, the Clintons were always given access to millionaire hideaways in vacation destinations and the zerOs simply pay humongous amounts to travel in royal style, complete with ostentatious entourage, to Hawaii or The Vineyard or fly into NYC or Chicago for dinner.
I think you are right that they have no concept of home. They certainly have no concept of America.
I also thought I read that Moo-chelle arrived a couple of hours before Bambi and the Bamettes on a different plane.

I tend to agree, but I think there is a 3rd choice:
3) Obama is so arrogant and self delusional that he thinks he will pull off a last minute victory with his brilliant reading of the teleprompter, no matter how bad the economy might be.
Oh, and I am sure he is very disappointed Irene didn't turn out to be the catastrophe he needed for #2.
I think this vacation and all the irritation it created was deliberate—the Obamas both loathe this country and they loathe Whitey. Their conduct is their way of getting back at the people they would cheerfully destroy if they could.
