I thought Santorum did very well. Carried the Conservative message confidently and was very good at pointing out the failure of RuPauls thinking.
Palin! She was sart enough to stay well clear of The Ministry of Trtuth.

Herman came in a close second place.
Newt won. I’m thinking he is a really good VP running mate for Cain that can help him hit the ground running; and be the hatchet man.
Romney didn’t hurt himself.
Bachman didn’t hurt herself.
Pawlenty shot himself (mortally) by attacking Michelle. I think this takes him out of the race.
Paul was good, until he kept talking, then he shot himself on Iran. His 10th amendment position lacks a moral standard, but otherwise good.
Huntsman shot himself on the gay-rights issue. He was actually doing pretty good until then.
Santorum was good, but came off as whining. His 10th amendment argument is weak; saying we are a country of morals, but stopping short of stating where the moral law comes from (his quoting of Lincoln is from a time in U.S> history where it was understood that Christianity and the Bible was the source of truth).
Cain didn’t get enough time; but he needs to get away from just business solutions: Iran can’t be solved just by econonmics, and he needs to be more principled on moral/societal issues.

Perry and Palin.
Personally, I will vote for anyone that is selected to run against the fraud we now have in office but so far not one of these folks has given me hope for a conservative victory.
All true. If he’s leashed, he’d be an asset in the cabinet—although his talents extend beyond any one post.
If Santorum had received the same attention and time as the others, he’d have won the debate. Every answer was perfect. It’s horribly ironic that it was his one departure from orthodox conservatism that kept him from appearing as a current U. S. senator.
He sure did & he had a chance yrs back to walk the talk but failed. Maybe he has learned his lesson but now too late. However, think how much better this nation would have been with him in the last 3 yrs.
I thought he refereed to Michelle Bachmann as Michelle 0bama.
