his point is that the seller of this huge silver contract had access to UNLIMITED funds, and that the objective of the trade had POLITICAL motives.
For this reason, the last-minute downward move in the silver price serves as no evidence of financial forces.
Rather, the move indicates evidence of a POLITICAL force (i.e. one that might indicate some type of political desperation).
So let me make it really simple:
1. If you are long silver, don’t sweat this strange down-tick
2. If you aren’t long silver, this might be a transient buying opportunity
3. The silver seller has very strong formal or informal ties to the US government —better put, the current US regime.
It looks as though these people are trying to keep Silver down. CME about 2 months ago kept changing the margin on silver contracts to keep the price down, at the time it was closing in on $50 an ounce.
Then again who knows.
http://www.gainesvillecoins.com/ gets you small quantities at excellent prices. I know of no better source, unless you have $20,000 to spend at one time, in which case tulving.com is good.
Thanks, I’ll check into that one. Although I started an acc’t with bulliondirect, I wanted a specific question answered before I made any transactions. I went through their “contact us” procedures on 7/21 and recieved immediate confirmation that my querrie got through....still waiting for an answer however. Made a second (confirmed) request today and if there is no reply by EOB Monday will take my business elsewhere.
Important FYI from an unbiased and reliable source:

BD looks like a good one, but GC is usually better.
Thanks again.
That site in your #26 is exactly what I need.
Much appreciated.
