Clinton married them? Interesting....somethings just not kosher in all this at all....but would explain further Hillary and Bills close association with the Islamic movement all the more...which is the real background story.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the fountainhead of Islamic terrorism, from Hamas to the PLO to to al Qaeda. The Obama administration has been signalling this move for months, with the “mostly secular” line and with its overall support for the Egyptian uprising even after it became apparent that the Brotherhood was among the powerful forces driving it.
The Brotherhood doesn’t recognize Israel, but the US is poised to recognize the Brotherhood. Its potential victory in Egypt’s upcoming elections has started a bit of a panic there among the actual secularists who thought they were gaining freedom with Mubarak’s ouster.

Clinton had officiated at the wedding of Weiner and Huma Abedin. That led me to wonder: By what authority did he do so? After I posed this question to a colleague last week, said colleague helpfully directed my attention to Article 3, Section 11 of the New York Domestic Relations Law. It allows a wedding to be solemnized by:
1. “A clergyman or minister of any religion, or by the senior leader, or any of the other leaders” of the Ethical Culture society;
2. Mayors and various other local government officials;
3. Federal and state judges and various other judicial officials;
or
4. Anybody or nobody, so long as there is “a written contract of marriage signed by both parties and at least two witnesses, all of whom shall subscribe the same within this state, stating the place of residence of each of the parties and witnesses and the date and place of marriage, and acknowledged before a judge of a court of record of this state by the parties and witnesses in the manner required for the acknowledgment of a conveyance of real estate to entitle the same to be recorded.”
Three seconds of searching the web turned up a couple of short pieces (here and here) from the time of the Weiner/Abedin nuptials that question Clinton’s authority to conduct marriage ceremonies. They point out—correctly—that being a former President is not a basis for validly solemnizing a wedding in New York State. However, neither piece raises the possibility that the wedding of Weiner and Abedin was solemnized by virtue of sub-provision 4. If so, Clinton’s participation would have been entirely for show—so long as Weiner and Abedin filed the necessary signed and witnessed paperwork and had it properly acknowledged by a judge.
According to Abedin's Wikipedia entry, she's a practicing Muslim who speaks English, Urdu, and Arabic. Yet she acts totally westernized in public and marries a Jew in a non-Islamic ceremony. Many a Muslim woman has been honor-killed for far less. The word taqiyya comes to mind. I wonder if she holds, or has been denied, any security clearances?

Like I said, said he's a terrorist. You either take it at his word. Or you actually look up what hes has said. Nothing of his terrorist actions have been verified.

Dina Habib Powell, Bush's personnel director? She now works for Goldman Sachs. Her husband and Karen Hughes both now work for Burston Marsteller.
Her parents are Copts. They brought her to this country when she was four. She went to a Catholic prep school in Dallas (the same school as Mr Bill's wife). Before GWB, she worked for Kay Hutchinson and Dick Armey.

I have to go back into old files. This is not anywhere close to the info I gathered. The name doesn’t fit. But it’s old info and my memory might be mixing up two different people. The lady I was recalling had a relationship with the saudis as well, and was/is muslim.
I don’t think it was Dina Powell.
I googled for somebody close to Bush whose father had been Egyptian military, and Dina Habib Powell (Bio) was the only hit. Her father held the rank of Captain in the Egyptian army. After the family moved to Dallas, he became a bus driver and then a convenience store owner. She is on the classic second-generation immigrant upwardly mobile trajectory.

, the counterpart of Huma, were all male and not of Middle Eastern background. Karen Hughes was a close advisor Bush for a long time, but her daddy was a US two-star.
