Dick Morris loves Sarah Palin . "She has a level of skill in communication that I have not seen since Ronald Reagan. She is a superstar."

I declare Dick Morris The Old Weiner.
Positive or negative...I really have no use for what this guy has to say.
To: curth
If she gets in, she will be formidable.

Without the Soros-engineered economic collapsed (timed perfectly for the election) McStupid and Palin would have won (despite McStupid’s best efforts to give it to his good buddy Barry).
Would we have been better of with a President McStupid than with a Kenyan King?
We’ll never know.

Dick Morris is a lot like Newt Gingrich. Brilliant analyst, wrong about most everything.

We've had our "first black president" - suits me to have her be our "first female president".
Then we can get on with having simply the best person/American for the job...

He is right. Palin is 'connected' to America and Americans in a way and to an extent that none of the other hopefuls are. Some of this 'connectedness' is natural to her (a real gift)...AND, a great deal is hard-won and well-deserved.
Also, among her many and excellent qualities, Palin is first and foremost, courageous.
“Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities... because it is the quality which guarantees all others.” Winston Churchill

Morris has a keen eye and is a shrewd analyst, but when it comes time to draw a conclusion or make a prediction, he's about as good as I am.

I notice that you didn’t join FR until after Sarah made the speech that Dick Morris is referring to. Are you needing a boost this morning? Try doubling up on the coffee you put in your cup. We know what a wonderful lady Sarah is.

I don’t want another Reagan. 8 years from now I want someone to be called the next Palin.

While he’s probably right about Palin in this instance, let’s remember that this is the guy who told us repeatedly in 2008 that Mitt Romney was too much of a conservative extremist to win the Presidency and that McCain was the GOP’s only chance to salvage the brand.
Look it up.

Instead of referring to Palin as the new Reagan, can we refer to Reagan as the old Palin?
