Palin has always been a Goldwater Republican more than a Reagan Republican.
She is quasi Western Libertarian from the Goldwater School and will disappoint many Social Conservatives.
“Her redeeming quality for SoCons is that she walks the walk in her personal life and would relegate socials issues to the States under the 10th Amendment.
Californians can smoke pot and Alabama can outlaw abortion.
Come to think of it, that’s a PROPER reading of the Constitution.”
You nailed it. This is precisely why she gets attacked by the left and the right. She will bring both houses down, and their scared to death of her.
Which other unalienable rights do you think states can “decide”? And if they can “decide” them, how can they possibly be unalienable?
You can keep ranting about if it is federal or a State issue but your ranting doesn’t save a single baby from being torn apart in the womb. But I’m sure it makes you feel good about yourself that you think you are ideologically pure. I’m sure the babies being torn apart in the womb are glad you have your ideological purity.
“This list is a pack of lies. You need to find new reading material.”
Agreed. Check this out.
Tier 4: Personhood Never
Tier 4 leaders and organizations fundamentally deny the personhood and God-given right to life of the unborn by advocating a permanent “legalization” and often even funding of the intentional killing of some preborn children for various reasons. This clear description of their position demonstrates that these leaders are pro-choice with varied exceptions.
The fourth tier includes Sarah Palin, George W. Bush, John McCain and those below who use the pro-life title but deny the personhood and God-given right to life of the unborn.
My agenda, first and foremost, is to restore respect for America's founding principles. Those principles are the only hope for this country. I'm not sullying anybody. I'm simply pointing to the cornerstone and reminding folks that it provides the only reliable starting point for the plumb line to properly test policy and candidates.
If those policies and candidates don't line up with the plumb line of principle, they have sullied themselves.
We've got Obama on record saying he wouldn't want his daughters "punished with a baby." I think his pro infanticide credentials are perfectly clear no matter how hard you try to spin them.
Nice.
You are still here? From when this thread was started about an hour ago, statistically speaking about 150 children have been torn from their mother’s womb. You are finding it more important to rant on a website than go to your local abortion clinic and offer to adopt the children that would be murdered?
Put your money where your mouth is. Or are you waiting for someone to say “I’m from the government and I’m here to help?”
If you are going to raise that bar, you better be willing to live by it.
But you are firmly standing behind the site as credible when it clearly is not. Same as perpetuating lies.
Stop it right now. Down’s Syndrome babies are all too often aborted and you know it.
I’m not engaging with you on this subject today.
It’s a loser for you.
Life begins at conception and SARAH PALIN believes that.
END OF CONVERSATION.
I THINK SARAH PALIN IS GOOD WITH GOD AND MAY GOD ALWAYS BLESS AND KEEP WATCH OVER SARAH PALIN AND HER PRECIOUS FAMILY.
Sarah Palin’s position is clear as well. She thinks that if states want to allow the killing of innocent persons, they can.
Which is the negation of the most important foundational principles of this republic, and a denial of the explicit, imperative demand of the Constitution:
“No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.”
“No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
Why can’t you answer the simple question about which other unalienable rights the states can “decide”?
I know.
Have a blessed and happy Lord’s day.
GO SARAH!
“Further, after reading the comments by others familiar with the site, they discount it and it was mentioned that even Billy Graham had be accused of being pro-choice by them.”
They still do. They have him listed in Tier 4.
Tier 4 leaders and organizations fundamentally deny the personhood and God-given right to life of the unborn by advocating a permanent “legalization” and often even funding of the intentional killing of some preborn children for various reasons.
Sounds like a good way to save lives until a Prolife Amendment is added to the Constitution.
"I can prove Palin is not pro-life"
I don't see how you have since it the best way to stop many abortions and Palin knows that.
If Roe v Wade was overturned today many many lives would be saved by prolife state legislation restricting abortion.
...and another three babies have been killed from your last post to this one.. and you are still here? Why aren’t you getting in your car and driving to the local planned parenthood right now? Is ranting on the internet more important than saving lives?
If that's true, she's worse than the Roe court.
Even they admitted, in the majority opinion written text, that if the fetus is a person, OF COURSE they are protected by our Constitution.
"The appellee and certain amici argue that the fetus is a 'person' within the language and meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. In support of this, they outline at length and in detail the well known facts of fetal development. If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment."-- Justice Harry A. Blackmun, Roe vs. Wade, 1973
But you see, that is hard work. That would mean he would actually have to step away from the keyboard and do something. Instead, he can sit in the comfort of his living room and play the ideological purist without actually breaking a sweat, waiting for the federal government to magically come in and ban it nationwide. While he is waiting on his ideological genie, real pro-life people are beating the street and doing something.
Absolutely outrageous
