We were talking whether or not people could withstand 36g.

There are many many many cases of normal people suffering this kind of ‘sudden stop’ and surviving. They are called car accidents.

How long do you think they were subjected to the high g’s? 5 seconds? 10 seconds? 1 minute? No it was a very short time. The structure of the plane and seats would actually extend the stopping time thereby reducing the peak g’s.

The amount of g’s a person can take depends entirely on their health. As I said the stop didn’t kill them, the trauma from plane parts or drowning did.

“cost about ten
cents to take you anywhere in town.
They also run errands. When I need a case of beer, I just text our driver and he comes running.”

LOL that is just too extreme! Even in my great gas mileage car I couldn’t beat that, no way, no how! I don’t drink, except wine at weddings or special occasions, but it sure is amazing you have that kind of service. My husband would love that...it boggles the mind that anyone would do anything for 10 cents.

As a comparison, a girl working maybe 10 hours in a store here
might make about $3.50 for the whole DAY.

How does that $3.50 for a day’s work translate into their ability to buy food, clothes, and necessities for their families?. Is it in line with their income, or does it make for extreme poverty? I realize expats have much larger income, and to them living is cheap.

Well, I am talking about young girls working, but most men
do not do much better,
Food is cheap, but I live in the vegetable basket of Cebu, so there is more then enough rice, the main staple, potatoes,
cabbage, and other fruits and vegies.
Pork, fish, and chicken, are the meats. It is mostly fish, as this is also a fishing village.

Everyone get by, one way or another.

Thats what I said. Not the first time a tail has detatched from an airbust. My bet is that the tail seperation was the cause of the crash.

I would’ve bet the farm that you did; your drivel about the vertical stabilizer has no other explanation.
