And how about ground beef? Unless it’s sold at a discount, I usually cannot even find the lower-grade 80/20 beef for less than $4.99 a pound!
Yesterday Kroger had 10 for $10 on half gallons of milk. With two kids in the house we bought five gallons. They won’t get within a week of the sell by date.
Even the red stickered getting ready to expire hamburger meat is expensive.
Fed me and my sis for two weeks...on 25.00 dollars!
Huge bags of sausages for 5 dollars. Out of date by about two months but frozen. Bags of breaded chicken paties for 5. 20 cans of vegetables for 12. We bought regular ketchup at the regular store plus tea..lol. Tough month that was.
May have gained about 10 pounds but we didn’t starve thats for sure
I have had spaghetti without meat and Ramen noodles.
I saw some show where a lady used coupons and got 1000 dollars worth of mostlt juice boxes and drinks in bulk and paid 20 something dollars after coupons. Does anyone know how to start couponing as the Sunday paper barely has any coupons anymore and I don’t buy the Sun. paper as the jobs that used to be 10 pages front and back are now 1 page maybe.
Your thread came to mind tonight, My wife paid $6.79 for a gallon of milk.
