Sure it does. It further helps to establish paternity, though his own words were already testament enough, and firmly establishes certain legal parameters IMO. That's two things right there.
I'm with you on it, overall, being a moot issue. It keeps most people from learning more about the core issue of natural born citizenship and dual citizenship.
