Conservative bloggers are also outnumbered by their counterparts on the left, although they provide a valuable service by refuting the lies that leftist bloggers and other Democrat/Media Complex outlets publish. Then why not post this "valuable service" here, where more folks will see it?
Why drive traffic to some cheesy blog, other than to get blog hits?
Do you imagine Free Republic exists to provide an advertising platform for your blog?

What is it with people who think they have to write a blog? The Internet has allowed anyone with a computer to create a blog and share unimportant (to others, important to the blogger) thoughts.
I'm sure that some can be useful; but most are written by insecure narcissists. In my opinion!

The point is that innocent people often click those infested links, unaware of the spyware/adware/flash objects/trackers/beacons and tons of “active” cookies embedded in a lot of them.
Just 2 weeks ago, one of the “blogs” cheerfully “harvested” one of my real email addresses which has since become a veritable festival of spam and garbage.
I [and most other people] deeply resent maleficent software which surreptitiously scans your system, ‘mining’ for personal data and info.
*That* is one of the major issues with bloggers.

Do you have *any* idea how much money you can make by serving ads and second/third party content on a blog?
Every click generates revenue.
*That* is why they put up such a vicious fight when cornered.
How else [besides welfare] can you make a good living sitting on your sofa with your fat ass typing out “personal opinions and observations” nobody cares about, really?
You want the real straight dope, FR is ALL you need.
Countless links to useful, relevant news and info are posted here every day *without* the original poster seeking to turn a profit at Mr Robinson’s expense.
