I’d crawl through fire to vote for HC!
I’d crawl through broken glass to vote republican
I’mew to posting many years to lurking sorry if I repeated but Cain deserves looking at
mb
Herminator bump!
The more I hear him the more I like.
LOL I would so enjoy that.
Just like last time. Only McLame blew it!
He thought he had picked the worst possible VP, and he did. For the Dimms!
This kind of stuff bothers me. I like Cain. He is a Conservative American man. Why do black Conservatives feel the need to stress their blackness? If it isn’t about color, then why make it about color?
I watched Angela McGlowan today. She is fantastic, and she doesn’t play race, ever. It’s as if these guys don’t really even understand themselves that it ISN’T about race for most conservatives.
To me, this speech is pandering from a black pol to white people and I just don’t like it. ..anymore than I like pandoring from white pols to hispanics, or black americans, or Jews or gentiles or anybody. Stuff this crap in a ditty bag somewhere and talk about what matters.
I’m sick of it.
Just got my first intro to Cain on C-Span. Now I see what others are excited about.
Interesting take. For what its worth, that line was only a minor segment of the speech, and the context was in defense of the racist allegations against those who oppose Obama - especially those associated with the Tea Party movement.. He was accentuating that such opposition was not about color.
I highlighted that clip because it resonated with the Iowa crowd. The crowd had sat through 6 hoirs of political presentation and seemed to be fading until Cain spoke. This line in particular brought them to their feet.
In short, Cain didn’t emphasize race - I did by pulling that clip and writing about it.
I got to vote for Herman in the GA Senatorial primary in 2004. He’s the real deal, let me tell you.
Cain has many admirers in Iowa. To quote the slogan: “No one doesn’t like Herman Cain”.
Thank you for a realistic observation from an Iowa Republican who has to make a decision. This is tough work.
I don't care what this guy says or doesn't say, I'm staying eagle eyed at
every damn politician. Eventually they all show their true colors.
I guess I'm a racist again, ho-hum. I'm not buying any crap, anymore.
