Preaching to the choir. I'm all too familiar with USAID.
An almost 4 yr old reply of mine.
Foreign Aid from USAID (Mexico)

And from about eight yrs ago in 2003...
Article...Enhancing the Futures of Palestinian Youth through Internet Technology
USAID funding has constructed new labs and renovated existing ones, creating 14 state-of-the-art labs in Ministry of Education schools.

Presidential Initiatives
The President of the United States has recently announced seventeen development-related initiatives for sustainable development worldwide--all being implemented in part or whole by USAID.

You are missing the point. You claim that Mexico received aid from us. Not true. In reality, some DC based NGO received it and they sent some “awareness campaign” posters or visited Mexico to indulge in some frivolous action. That is the point I’m trying to make. Too many people have gotten fooled into believing that aid goes to foreign countries when in reality it is a means by the leftist NGOs here in the US to steal our money.

You are missing the point.
Don't lecture me, please. And, no, I'm not missing the point you or the author is trying to make.
NGO's running USAID programs is not anything new, despite you, or the author apparently, having just found out such a thing has been happening.
Who do you think has been running those 17 "development-related initiatives for sustainable development" listed in my "2003" reply. NGO's...or did you even bother to look into any of them?

You are still missing the point because you believe that money went out of the US to foreign countries. While you trash the author of the piece, the fact is that the newspaper conducted real investigations and followed the money trail and NAMED American groups while you were merely reposting the information someone else had posted on the internet.

The newspaper’s investigation does not become irrelevant because you FORWARDED someone else’s information in 2003.

The point you are missing is this: Foreign aid is NOT foreign aid but aid for Americans, both Republicans and Democrats.

You are still missing the point...
Once again, no, I'm not.
Lots of folks have been aware of what's been going on for some time.
Even the article states...A detailed examination of the USAID projects, the history of NGOs and their ties in Washington...
From whence did this "history" come?
It's nothing new.

BTW, an "investigation" isn't an audit and conjecture isn't evidence.
