“babesiosis “
Sounds like beer goggles.
Babeosis has nothing to do with illegals. Humans are dead end hosts.

A 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2.
Viral infections should be the focus for this group..
Ticks. Mosquitoes. Alligators. What purpose do they serve on earth?????
According to the article, as least one of these diseases can be spread via blood transfusion.
The Lyme test done routinely on dogs tests for several of these diseases at once - a $35 test that takes five minutes.
Babesia can be detected on a blood film included in a CBCD ( complete blood count with differential). Unfortunately the babesia are only small dots contained in the RBC and can sometimes be missed during the early stages of the disease. As the disease progresses the “dots” become more numerous and “should “ be seen by the technologist reading the differential.

I’ve been shouting about this far and wide, but no one seems to be interested. Doctors are way behind on this!! I went to 11 doctors and 5 years later finally found out I had lyme disease. Lyme disease has surpassed AIDS as Number one infectious disease. If you have been diagnosed with MS, Parkinson’s, Gout, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, TMJ, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, ALS, Crohns, ADHD, Autism, depression, Panic attacks, Bi polar, fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Alzheimers, Mono.....you probably have a tick illness. Thank goodness I found a tick disease specialist in MO. Otherwise I’d still be bedridden.
Thank you.
A friend of a friend was hospitalized recently for “tick fever.” Apparently, country doctors recognize this as a possibility.
I know a guy who nearly died from a tick borne disease. They didn’t recognize what it was in the hospital, and gave him a heavy duty antibiotic. When he finally started to improve, they figured out it was something he got from a tick, but they weren’t sure what.
Mosquitoes serve as food for Purple Martins and bats. I finally figured that out less than a year ago. However, when they were first created I don’t know that they were the ‘biters’ and spreaders of disease - satan may have corrupted them and made them the disease carriers they are.
Alligators are scavengers - they clean up the other dead animals.
Ticks? Not sure - haven’t really thought about their purpose on this rock.
Those complaining of chronic Lyme disease probably have one of these coinfections. You can’t make a diagnosis if you don’t think of it.
I like how they got climate change into the story. They couldn’t resist.
Thanks decimon for an A+ micro ping!
Tick borne diseases are so ubiquitous that I often start the dogs on doxycycline and ciprofloxacin concurrently.
