Maybe for some industries unions were a necessary evil. But never for teachers. Our quality of education is failing miserably year after year. If money were equal to quality we would have a thriving steel industry, a magnificant auto industry and a world class system of education. Not to mention textiles...
In education, what are we getting for our money? In regards to WI, all I hear is these “poor students” having to be out of school. Who’s fault is that? If the union or the teachers cared one iota about the “poor students”, they would be in the classroom doing the best job they could.
Just look at them... this is what we’re getting for our bucks. I’m absolutely disgusted.
DUH.
Do you believe that everybody knows that? A Fox reporter asked some of the Madison whiners about it and none they showed knew that factoid.
Nope, I don’t believe most people know that.
My “duh” was to convey the idea that I think it’s obvious that public sector employees should not have collective bargaining rights.
